That should work. The other thing I neglected to mention was at least some USB 3.0 slots but it looks like that has it covered.

The resolution isn't great, but if you're fine with it then it's fine. It's also a small screen/laptop so that probably won't make a lot of difference to you.

One other thing you'll want to consider is if you don't have a desktop at home or anything, you may want to consider getting an extra monitor or two and a docking station. Coding on a single screen, let alone one that small, will be somewhat annoying. At least, it would be to me. When I was finishing up my degree, I had a three monitor setup with one of them setup as a portrait display. Made it convenient to work on code on the portrait display while having notes/instructions/whatever on the other screen(s).

Not a necessity, but it's worth considering.

As an aside, if you're not a great coder - make friends with the awkward kids. It'll save your life on some of the more difficult programming assignments.

I think four peaked strictly in terms of gameplay mechanics. It preserved the relatively linear style of the MGS franchise while also giving you the ability to pick your own way (through most of the scenarios). It controlled well and was easy to master. It also preserved enough of the original idea and story to make it interesting. Not to mention it still had David Hayter and the OG cast to support. It was a bit of a clusterfuck in terms of story, but was still good.

Five had a similar control scheme, but it really suffered from the open world aspect. I never felt like I was using stealth or infiltration so much as just tranqing everyone before I ever even got close. It never really felt like a MGS game to me. Even the narrative barely felt like MGS.

MGS2 was ground breaking at the time, but is hard to play in retrospect. The control scheme and gameplay are clunky and awkward. The whole Raiden bait and switch thing doesn't help either. Still, it felt like I was playing MGS.

So for me it's MGS4>2>5

The country is doing pretty well but I think that's in spite of him rather than because of him. Hard to really effectively determine how he is as a president until hes out of office. All he can really be measured on at the moment is whether or not he's an asshole, which is clearly the case.
