"Ceman, this is absurd even for you!" Unfair yells.

Tadg is sweating bullets.

"Just look at his face! He has to be more involved with this than he's letting on. In fact, the defense asserts that Tadg is the true culprit of this case!" you yell.



"OBJECTION! Unbelievable! Your Honor, I will not stand for these baseless accusations!" Unfair angrily shouts.

"Why can't you just answer the question? Where were you shopping, Mr. Tadg?" you ask.

"It was a furniture store!" Tadg caves.

Unfair looks incredibly uncomfortable.

A furniture store? Wait a minute....

"Did you perhaps buy a lamp there?" you ask.

"I-"

"Did you buy a lamp?!"

"Yes..."

This is it.

"Your Honor, I've figured it out. It was Tadg. He went to the furniture store to purchase the lamp used to kill CJayC. He plotted his crime in advance. When the time came, he had a stroke of good luck. CJayC was with a visitor. That was when Tadg had an idea. He would frame his crime on Vegy. That's right, HIS crime."

You give a dramatic finger point to finish him.

"Isn't that right Tadg?!"

"But the mods- I didn't - always harassing me - had to do something I-I-I-I GHRKAHEJADJDJHAJKDHJAHDLAHDLAHDLAHDJLAHDALJKHDLAKJHQDS"

Tadg passes out.

A few minutes later.



"How is Mr. Tadg?" the judge asks.

Unfair is staring daggers at you.

"He's confessed to everything. It seems he blamed CJayC's departure from Gamefaqs for the supposed 'abuse' he was suffering from the mods," Unfair explains.

"Hmm, I see. Well, Mr. Ceman, you've done it again. The court hereby finds the defendant..."

NOT GUILTY

The gallery cheers. You feel a huge wave of relief.

"Court is adjourned."

"Fedora! I can't believe you won dat tbh!" Vegy exclaims.

"Well, it wasn't easy tbh."

Damn it now I'm talking like him.

"Anyway, friends still get off for free right? Thanks again!" Vegy yells as he runs out of the room.

"Hey wait!"

You sigh. Well, at least you got him off the hook. That's all that really matters in the end. Suddenly you hear someone approach from behind.

"Excuse me, are you Fedora Ceman?"

You turn to see a young girl, maybe 19-20 standing before you.

"Yeah, that's me."

"Finally! I've been looking for you for a long time!" she says.

"Looking for me? Why?"

"My friend is in trouble and needs your help! She's innocent I tell you!"

"Ok, calm down. Where is your friend? What is she in trouble for?" you ask.

The girl pulls a book out of her handbag.

"Here, just take a look at this and it will explain everything," she says as she hands you the book.

As you open the book you are barely able to even read the first sentence before you suddenly feel dizzy.

What's going on?

As your ears start ringing and your eyesight goes blurry you can faintly hear the girl's voice.

"Just let go, Mr. Ceman. I'll explain in due time..."

And with that you pass out.

What's really confusing is where Breath of the Wild fits in with everything.

There are bits and pieces of every timeline in it, from the shattered Twilight Mirror to references to the Endless Ocean Era.

BotW is supposed to be completely separate from the whole thing, or at least so far ahead in the timeline (at least 10,000 years) that it doesn't matter.

I imagine timeline placement wasn't something the Zelda team was considering much when developing BOTW. They just made the game they wanted to make and they can figure out where to place it on the timeline much later.

I wanna believe it's somewhere in the LttP timeline but idk honestly

Cross-Examination: What I Saw

Before I begin, is this courtroom secure?

They could be listening man. They're always listening.

"HOLD IT! Who is listening?"

"I already told you man! The mods! They've been unfairly targeting me for months now. Every topic I make, every discussion I try to have... they always shut me down!"

"Hmm... has it ever occurred to you that maybe you're just a shitposter?" you ask.

"OBJECTION! Mr. Ceman, I will not have you throwing such baseless allegations at my witness," Unfair says.

You're at a loss of words.

"And he was never seen again. Carry on witness," Unfair says with a smirk.

They're always watching me no matter where I go.

Anyway, I saw that Vegy guy go into CJayC's apartment with him.

"HOLD IT! Are you sure it was the defendant you saw?"

"I'm absolutely sure."

"But, really? You're 100% positive?"

"OBJECTION! Enough with this incessant badgering. If the witness says he saw the defendant then he saw the defendant," Unfair says.

"The defense will refrain from badgering the witness," the judge says.

Great, now the judge is against me too...

I live next door and was coming back from the store when I saw them.

"HOLD IT! What store were you visiting?"

"Well um.... you see...."

"OBJECTION! Where the witness was shopping is irrelevant to the case at hand," Unfair says.

"Yes, the defense will drop this line of questioning at once," the judge agrees.

"Phew, I thought I was gonna have to tell you for a second there," Tadg says.

And that's the truth. You hear me Error?! You can't mod me for perjury!

"HOLD IT! I don't know who this Error is, but are you certain the account you've given to the court is accurate?"

"Absolutely! I'm an upstanding gamefaqs used unfairly harassed by the mods. I would never commit perjury."

You hear the sound of the gavel.

"I believe we've heard enough. Mr. Ceman, if you don't have any issue with the testimony I'll have no choice but to deliver my verdict," the judge says.

Honestly, I have nothing, but there is one thing that's bothering me.

"Your Honor, I do have one comment to make," you reply.

Unfair chuckles to himself. "Ha! This must be one of your foolish bluffs!"

He saw right through me...

"Your Honor, when I asked Mr. Tadg what store he was shopping at, he all of a sudden became very uneasy, and then seemed quite relieved when I was forced to drop the question," you say.

"Yes, and you've already been warned about this line of questioning, Mr. Ceman. You will not question the witness about irrelevant matters, lest you wish to receive a penalty," the judge warns.

"I understand, Your Honor, but I don't think it's irrelevant at all."

This is it, no turning back now.

"In fact, it's the key to the entire case!"



"OBJECTION! What nonsense is this? Where the witness was shopping has nothing to do with the case. As I said before, this is just another one of your idiotic bluffs!"

"OBJECTION! Tell me then. Why is the witness so uncomfortable about the subject? He must be hiding something!"

This is it. What do I do?

A. Accuse Tadg
B. Demand to know where he was shopping.
C. Have Tadg testify again

The man looks around nervously, constantly looking over his shoulder. He seems a little on edge.

"Um, witness? Are you quite alright?" the judge asks.

"Where are they? I know they're watching!" the witness exclaims.

What is this guy talking about?

"Um, who exactly is watching?" you ask.

"The mods, man! They're out to get me! All of them! Error and his cronies must be around here somewhere!"

"Witness, your name and occupation," Unfair says again.

"I should never have agreed to come here. It's not safe! The mods will get me!"

Unfair slams his desk.

"NAME. OCCUPATION."

"What? Oh right. My name is Tadg. I'm just an innocent poster who is wrongfully hounded by the mods," the witness replies.

"You're modded by hounds, you say? That sounds quite dreadful!" the judge says.

"Did you witness the crime in question, witness?" Unfair asks.

"I did. I saw it all," Tadg replies.

"Please testify to the court," the judge says.
