Id like to learn many accents. Or at least be able to recognise.
As a British person, I can tell if a person is from Scotland, Ireland, North East England, Liverpool and London. I recognise some thick southern American accent from watching American TV shows but thats about it. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Main ones I can tell:

The thick southern accent you hear on TV is fake as hell. I'm from the south and people don't normally talk like that.

I've had people here in America ask me where I'm from because of my "accent". I'm FROM America. For some reason, they thought I was from some European country. I have no idea what the hell they were talking about.

I have no idea what the hell they were talking about. Yeah I sometimes get asked the same because i am very aware of the local accent here in the rural areas and its not attractive.
