| Lopen 07/05/18 11:09:07 PM #443 | Well, the way I see it with Glacies is you're running desperation so playing a combat and having your special with cooldown 1 remaining isn't always the worst thing as you can double hit with Glacies on hit 2 to kill really tanky targets. And as for Luna vs Iceberg my thinking is more like when you actually need the special proc to kill I feel like Luna might be better on average, even if Iceberg is dishing out better damage on average. But yeah I'll have to actually use him more in meaningful fights to really know for sure. Specials are pretty balanced in this game now I like it. --- No problem! | Lopen 07/05/18 5:21:18 PM #422 | Oh I still like feathers but I don't see a need to have more than 200k accumulated since you can basically +10 with that. Color concerns are the main reason I have less targets than I like. I really wanted to +10 a blue/green next and yeah the only blues/greens I like that aren't 5* or BHB are Cherche, Oboro, Soren, L'Arachel, Odin, Cordelia. Catria, Hawkeye, Titania, Cecilia, Frederick, and Subaki. Some of those are a big stretch for how much I really like them (Tailtiu and Catria are all design since I haven't played FE1 or FE4 yet, and Hawkeye/Titania/Subaki/Cecilia/Frederick aren't exactly anywhere near one of my favorites though I do like them), some I can't draw (Oboro, L'Arachel), some don't seem to get a lot of benefit from merges (Cherche), and some seem like they'd be a lot of effort to get a vaguely decent unit (Odin). So it was basically Soren vs Cordelia for now. There are other unreleased pegasus riders I like more-- less so on green mages, so Soren is the next +10 for now. Currently +6. No more copies yet-- mostly because I send the 3* copies home because I'm patient and would rather save the 2000 feathers per 3*. I also made a 5* Fir because I got a +Spd/-Def on my very first copy of her way back in the day and felt like she was overdue-- despite my glut of swords and her having like 5 3-4* reds ahead of her that I'd +10 first. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Unlike the Phoenix Cave which is one of my least favorite the party split mechanic is actually used well there and makes it feel like a bigger deal, and rewards you for building up a lot of characters. Not to mention the last 5 bosses and how they're killed across the 3 paths in parallel, it's all great. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Managed to do the first guy despite no holy/water chain but he did kinda pander to a strong Rydia. Last one was really tough but ultimately the solution was to just power through his fire resist and use my fire team. Edgar can get him up to triple imperil by himself and once that's up he takes quite a bit from fire. Also the fire chain works with Sabin's Fire/Non-Elemental USB and follow-up well enough even when Triple Imperil isn't up. Came damn close to his final shadow flare wiping me though. Thank goodness for Minwu's bubble being up. Sabin and Locke survived both at critical HP. But yeah fun bosses. I liked Ruby the most probably. Probably cause Dark Cecil was OP as hell for him. In fact I did a few tries where I was trying to run without a healer and just using a bunch of self heals and I was able to reliably half kill him with Cecil alone (the whole party sometimes got wiped at the beginning if I was unlucky with his AOE spray after Fellstar Ultima) --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

| Lopen 07/04/18 1:51:46 PM #36 | Random asides: 1. Squall still does 99999x3 drain strength on him if the chain is at 99 (doable with a modest amount of luck on dualcasts). 2. For my first few runs I actually had Squall's weapon at like level 10 because I'm an idiot and had planned to full augment it so was using a lot of augmenting for weapon EXP but got distracted mid upgrades. He does more like 6500x4 to start and 7500x4 when double en-ice is up now. Pretty good! Also makes drain strength matter even less on him since he 9999x4 caps even earlier on in the ice chain even with drain strength on him-- hell it matters on Rikku the most really now. Not that she does massive damage but I have Rinoa's ice boomerang on her so she does like 12k per attack early in the chain. It matters! --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

| Lopen 07/04/18 1:11:05 PM #35 | Yikes 5x11 that's crazy. I had two moments in the game where I bought some gems for actual banner pulls. Was only 2-3 pulls each time. But I always got kinda lucky (did it for Dark Cecil's DARK SWORD banner and for Tidus's Swiftform Shield banner). I felt kinda gross both times but I actually got decent stuff both times-- but both times I felt like it wasn't worth it in spite of this. This is why I pretty much only use gems for 100 gem pulls, dream selects, and occasional lucky pulls now. If I expect nothing (or have 100% rate on getting something of value for the pull in the case of dream selects) it feels more like I'm just supporting the game a little. Also helps that these are things where spamming draws is literally impossible. So yeah that'd be my advice in the future-- even when you get most of the stuff you want you don't feel good about it so don't do it. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Only drawback is I had to burn 200 flags in a non boosted hour because I was rank 5100 in the last hour and wanted the extra feathers. Gambit worked though at least since I gained about 200 spots by doing that. Hopefully it doesn't wreck my overall ranking too much. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |
