So warlock is becoming more common now and I'm like "what's a deck I can use to out value warlock" and now that nzoth is gone I'm like "mage right?" Truth was though I wanted to make a deck I could put toki into.

I got a little annoyed with RotTR. Every area was "here's a zillion places where you need X, Y, and Z that you don't have." Nothing against Metroidvanias, but it felt a bit forced here. And either I suck at stealth or it's just plain not very good in this. I dunno, I think mostly I just got frustrated being able to see stuff on the map and not collect it. I didn't really have this problem with the prequel.

This was a wild one to track the votes for. Both Botanic Panic and G Free started off with a commanding lead, on the order of 10-3. Then, somebody flipped the switch, and instead of voting for those two, everyone started voting for End of All and Scrap I/O. G Free nearly mounted a comeback at the end, but End of All never looked back. First time in a while we've had a really tight match, down to the buzzer, though.

Monolith retired. This made round 3 previously, so I thought I'd try it again. That said, I do like Twilight of the Gods, so I won't be too upset if Cloudscapes loses.

Are you getting an explicit dust refund on the HOF'ed cards? I guess I might need a second molten giant.

I looked on hearthpwn a little just now for the best theorycrafted decks. The only one that interested me was an odd-build quest warrior. I guess the murloc mage was also intriguing. Lots of people seem swept up in the Shudderwock OTK, so be prepared for that. I'm still mostly interested in checking out odd mage, elemental shaman, zoo mage, and maybe a couple others. I'm sure spiteful decks are also going to be a thing.

This is Blizzards balancing philosophy in all of its games, so probably.

Except Survival Hunters in WoW. Theyll never be viable PvE.

I can't speak for post-Cataclysm, but my survival hunter did just fine from 1.7 up through when I stopped playing during Lich King.

I honestly don't think even decks are really going to be a thing. I mean, for all that deckbuilding restriction, all you really get is that you can use your hero power "for free" on turns 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. After that, unless you generate odd-costing cards, there's never going to be a point where it matters.

Truthfully, odd decks are a bit dubious imo as well. Hunter and mage might be able to pump some extra damage, using that 3 cost hero refresh and 5 cost damage doubler, but hero powering is usually something you do in lieu of playing a card. Maybe control warrior makes use, but I haven't bothered to check what kinds of cards they lose without evens. Strangely, the best class for it might even be shaman, but I'm dubious that will do anything.
