I remember getting that game with my PS2 (along with Tony Hawk 3). Part of me loved the destructible environments, but I hated that 90% of the game never really used the mechanic for anything useful. Towards the end you are just in giant buildings that have metal walls that you can't bust through anyways. Then it ends up just being a traditional FPS game.

I also hated playing with a controller, it was the second FPS after Goldeneye that I played on a console and absolutely hated it.

People say they're glad it was done before they could remember. But what if you're one of those kids that has horrific scarring or gets a disease from an unclean procedure and suffers damage? I have seen more women care about it then men, and it is usually because of some bullshit reason like it "barbaric", "traumatic" or "painful". Umm, it happened when I was less then a day old. Hell, I am pretty sure it happened when I was less then an hour old. I had just gone from a womb out the birth canal into the world where I had to breath air for the first time. Not to mention the tube that was feeding me got severed and I now have to consume food in a way I am not used to. Pretty sure having a piece of my dick cut off after that is not any worse then what I just went through to get into this world. And even if it was there is no way I would have any memory of it by the time I can communicate to people.

I didn't mind it in college, but that was probably because my dad was working 2 jobs at the time, so he was only home for a few hours a night before going to bed. Then on weekends he would be out in his workshop most of the day and only came in the house for food and sleep. So essentially I was living alone.

Once my dad started his own business and was in the house most of the time though, then I was ready to leave. Considering I have a nicer home then my dad does I don't think I would be moving back in with him.

I think there are plenty of problems with the school system, but overall the main problem is the parents. They really aren't spending enough time helping their kids and building a foundation so that when they get to high school and beyond they have the tools to self-learn and succeed.

I also think we should probably start teaching kids earlier, like say around 2 years old. Not saying 2 year old kids should be spending 3 - 6 hours in a classroom, but just having them learn some basic math or a second language at that age would go a long way towards long term development.

And for Street Fighter it's ESPECIALLY important. While the games have gotten releases, they've been very spotty on all sorts of different consoles with version differences to keep in mind. Anybody who wanted to play the complete series would be in for a ridiculously huge investment.

With the exception of 1 and 5, I got all of the Street Fighter games for like $20. 2 and 3 (with all of their iterations) in the Street Fighter collection for PS2, all of the Alpha games in the Street Fighter Alpha collection for PS2, and 4 on PC.

However, I will probably still get this because outside of Fighting Street (which is insanely expensive), there really is no easy way to play the original Street Fighter. Plus then I wouldn't have to worry about breaking out the PS2 to play some Street Fighter 2 or Alpha.

Super Nintendo was best Nintendo. Gamecube was a close second, but if the Switch keeps getting awesome games it might take that spot (I highly doubt it will ever unseat the SNES though).

I really wish Dollhouse had a proper ending to the series rather then a thrown together final episode that was basically just a continuation of the un-aired semi-non-cannon episode from season one.

Ah yes, let's make people who spout hateful and ill-informed views out to be the "victim". I felt a little pity for him in that he probably wasn't a genuinely racist guy, just somebody who isn't super smart when it comes to politics and got caught up with some manipulative minds. But there's a certain point where if you keep believing that shit, I lose that pity. I don't know if his apparent lack of interest is a good thing; it's probably smart to not talk about politics publicly anymore, but it also sounds like he's being pretty insular and closing himself off from actually learning the specific issues people have with his views.

To be frank, those people do the exact same thing. The only reason he is getting so much hate is because the people who disagree with him are more vocal then the people who can separate the artist from his viewpoints.

Discussing any kind of politics is pointless because it is the thing that turns most people into close minded lemmings who will stay in their echo chambers no matter what you throw at them. And that is true no matter what side of the spectrum you are on. It is much better to just say "I don't agree, but oh well" and leave it at that.

That is probably what is going to happen honestly. They will probably keep making the PS4 and XBox One incremental upgrades and not make a brand new console ever again unless they want to do something completely different with it. Nintendo on the other hand will probably be releasing a new console in 4 - 6 years like they always do.
