About 15+ hours. There's multiplayer and Snapmap too for extra playtime, but nobody really plays multi anymore. Also Snapmap isn't on the Switch version.

Basically, so you know what you're getting yourself into...you're exploring a largely empty (but beautiful) large open world trying to find 16 (I believe) Colossi that you must kill in order to resurrect your girl...it's not specified if she's your sister or girlfriend or whatever. The main meat of the game is killing the Colossi and they're basically puzzles to figure out how to reach their weakpoints.

I really liked it, just know that the world wasn't designed to be "populated." It was done on purpose.

Plus the farthest we've made it in handheld graphics is PS360U quality. Everything else is just too expensive and/or not feasible for battery

Eh, like was mentioned before, the mobile market is booming compared to regular gaming. And at least with stuff like Switch you don't have to take it everywhere if you don't want to.

Since it was streaming from the console it affected performance, plus you kinda had to buy a Vita/PSP in order to even use said functionality and people didn't want to buy one just for that (the libraries for both were kinda mediocre).

In the end, even if Nintendo borrowed the concept, they polished it and made it work. If it's creating a wave of people attempting their own hand at portable consoles I wouldn't mind, because it honestly seems like the future of consoles and a logical upgrade to gaming-dedicated handhelds.

Just bought it off the eshop and played a bit. Not going to lie, I'm pretty dissapointed it doesn't have the timed inputs. I think the Mario and Luigi games still have by far the best combat out the Mario RPGs.

It does, you just have to play a little bit. You'll get the ability by the end of the Prologue.

I've seen Markiplier play the game. He has a deep fear of oceans and yet he's able to play the game just fine (...most of the time), so it shouldn't be too scary. It's a pretty interesting game though, all things considered!
