The issue of what was a glitch vs. a shortcut made a few decisions seem arbitrary. I do agree that runs with major "game breaking" glitches are boring. The only thing to maybe worry about it is being frontloaded and then not another entry in any of their main series for 3-5 years or the next console. Like Mario and Zelda are out already so it could be 3 years before you even see another real one unless they've mentioned they're working on new ones and I'm unaware Zelda is likely done, but Mario will have a lot of stuff such as a 2D and RPG game.
