White is a very good pro wrestler so it definitely wasn't a carry job by Kenny or anything.

He looked very nervous and uncomfortable in the Tana match and there were a lot of things going against that match as far as crowd reaction, too. And even with all that, it was very well worked, it just wasn't the typical match anyone expected or hoped for out of a WK IC Title match that involved Tanahashi.

Against Omega, he seemed far more comfortable with the new gimmick and everything. That goes a long way in a promotion like New Japan. Now, if his first defense is mediocre and it's not because it's against Hangman Page or someone similarly boring, then Kenny obviously starts deserving more credit.

So I guess the overall answer would be that it's hard to really know for sure yet. Being fairly familiar with Jay, though, I'm confident in saying he's going to do very well.

Viola and Talim are hard to imagine fitting into the story since Talim is like 11 or something in this game and I always assumed Viola was Amy in disguise (but i guess that was never really confirmed).

Really, the one that made me start shaking my head was Heihachi and then it was all downhill from there. Clown Voldo also seems weird, don't know that it really suits his lore. No Siegfried is also really suspicious to me.

I'd very much enjoy this roster so I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it.

I don't know that I'd call six months a small reign. That's all the way through the G1 and everything.

What gives me pause is that Okada is two defenses away from tying Tanahashi's record and three from breaking it, and it wouldn't surprise me if they want him to break it. That'd still be possible before Sakura Genesis, but he'd have to defend it at both Strong Style Evolved and the Anniversary Show, and it seems more likely he'd only actually defend at one of them.

As much as I want this, I feel like Naito deserves it first.

Under this assumption, Naito would take it off Kenny at KOPW later in the year.

Least favorite board game: Don't think I've played enough to have a least favorite. Even Monopoly doesn't bother me much.

Least favorite fighting game: The whole Mortal Kombat series

Worst game I paid full price for: Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

I prefer the O in Tic-Tac-Toe.

I think Star Fox Adventures would be remembered very fondly if it had remained Dinosaur Planet. Would've allowed them to deepen the already good parts of most of the rest of the game without having to throw in unnecessary Arwing stuff and things of that nature. I still like it, but I can't deny that it feels like it never really knows what it wants to be.

Least favorite spinoff: Off the top of my head, Pokemon Ranger

I don't know if I've ever even played a "guessing" game.

Most boring game I've ever played: I wouldn't say I've ever been legitimately bored by a game. I've either actively enjoyed or actively disliked everything.

You can safely disregard anyone who says Vegas might still be selling at the deadline. The higher-ups have said multiple times that it isn't going to happen at this point. If anything, there's an outside chance they might buy.

I haven't been following them, but I imagine the favourable expansion draft helped them a lot. They may have a weak 1st line/top defense pair, but they would in theory have one of the best 4th line/bottom defense pair.

It is a team sport, unlike basketball your best player is on the ice no more than 40% of the game. So other players are needed to compensate.

This is definitely a big part of it. And their 1st line is no slouch to begin with. They have the most even-strength goals scored of any line in the league right now.
