Lol It took her probably 1-2 years to get over herself and have some decorum when she was around my wife. Cub Scouts was a ton of fun, but Boy Scouts lost my interest pretty early. I've heard similar things from people. Unfortunately everyone's experience is different. Some troops are crap that never do anything fun. The guys I had in my troop were friends I've had since I was very young. We hung out outside of the troop constantly. Even after eagle rank, we enjoyed becoming leaders to the guys younger than us. It was also an excuse to go on free camp outs and white water rafting. Lol --- |

Venture scouts is fun and all but they don't have the structure of Boy Scouts. Venture scouts only meet to plan outings. They don't do all the badges, ranks, and ceremonies. --- |

I told her what I wanted to do and she cooks accordingly. There's always exceptions. My wife will cook either gourmet level food or really healthy simple food if she's having a lazy night so I'm good on that front. It's my laziness of not going out and running like I used to when we first started dating. Like I'd love to go running but I'd rather just chill on the couch with her. Chilling on the couch with her always wins over everything else. lol --- |
