This puts some truth to the rumors that CM Punk, at least accidently, put hands on Tony during the scuffle.

To be fair to the early power armor in FO4 situation, it's basically a rusted out pile of shit. Plus at that point maintaining it and ammo for the minigun should be a difficult task.

It needs to be left alone and not ruined by modern day shit devs.

1. Have Liam Neeson in it
2. Have skill checks in conversations
3. Edit: Also have Ren Auberjonois in it. FO4 would be dramatically improved with Ren Auberjonois and Liam Neeson kicking about.

Updated in graphics
Massively improved quality of live changes (Ability to leave conversations at any time, looting doesn't open a new screen unless you manually ask it took) The flow is amazing
Introduction of a Jet Pack
Completely revamped Combat Armor into a whole new game mechanic
Actual use for Junk items into core gameplay (Rock-It Launcher doesn't count)
Massively improved standards of Voice Acting
Increased vareity in map locations and random encounters.
Removal of God awful weapon/armor degredation

Also has less bugs and glitches than 3 and NV did but that's like being the nicest murderer in San Quentin so not really worth mentioning.
It's just an all round great game and it's sales and critical reception demonstrate that

It is one of the most sterile and unimaginative versions of a space faring future I have ever seen.
They somehow took away what made their games charming (sense of exploration and a huge world to discover) and replaced it with entirely procedurally generated instances.
Even in space you're locked in a "box" where you have limited flying ability. Everything is done via fast travel.
The writing looks god awful and safe, everything is safe about this game.

PC Optimization is non-existent, it basically doesn't exist. A big reason is their textures are garbage, bloated and have insane dimensons. Textures range from .5 to 4-5GB in size and are like 115x25000 or some weird ass dimension like that.

There is one faction side quest that is pretty good which is pretty much tradition in Bethesda games so that's one highlight. The main story seems pretty uninspired and boring but that's normal for them and Emil Pagliarulo's dogshit writing.

I didn't think it would be one of the most poorly optimized PC ports in recent memory to be honest. Feels like all their focus was on the consoles. PC needs serious patches and attention.

honestly Im surprised a 1080 even runs this but I had one before and it was solid. it does have the same failsafe that it will shut down if it's going to overheat though.

It runs it remarkably well, always around 55-60fps with my custom settings, most stuff on High.

did you set a maximum framerate? if you don't some games will max out and shoot up to 800+ fps in menus and fry the GPU before it even has time to shut down.

70-75c is ok under heavy load. you should be able to find out the shutoff temp for your GPU where it will give you a BSOD instead of killing itself.

Yeah I set it to 60 in-game and in my control panel globally.
My old card was a RX 560 2gb and it rarely went into the 60s... this one is a GTX 1080 so yeah quite a jump.

This game is so weird with temps... is 70-75c spikes okay? I got a new card that's much stronger than my old so I'm trying to find the new normal. Usually it hovers in the 60s. FPS is limited in both the game and control panel. x.x

I'm a worrier, a friend told me it's fine and normal.

Oblivion was incredible.
So incredible that on my old shitty PC I had to play on Very Low settings which eliminated all lighting effects and was ugly as hell but I still had fun.

Wait for the patch, it's gonna change a lot of gameplay. Especially perks and combat.
If you started now you'd basically be learning systems that will feel way different in a couple of weeks.

I love big AAA open world games in general and this looks like a great addition to that space. Also I have Game Pass so it's awesome they included this game on that service.

This is such a cope and I see a lot of Xbox people parroting it.
It's like everyone is supposed to forget Bethesda's history because they're owned by Microsoft now.
I liked Fallout 4 and 76 but can also recognize their patterns of deception and lies along with how each game seems more stripped down and casual as RPGs than the last.

Edit: That being said, I really hope Starfield proves me wrong and bucks the trend I've seen with their games.

I was just hoping they would dream bigger in a sense.
A brand new IP and Todd has often said this kind of game has been rattling around his head for decades... but it's just Fallout 4 with Space. They don't seem to have progressed or improved at all in the years this game has been in development.

I'll still play it eventually but I'm just disappointed with what I've seen. I wish someone would leak space combat, hopefully that's good.
