I went right from playing BG3 to playing Starfield and enjoying both. There's no place in my mind to compare the two and think less of Starfield. They accomplish very different things.

A big part of Starfield is dialogue and your companions. BG3 absolutely smashes it in all facets when you compare these aspects.

It'll still get nominated but Baldur's Gate 3 really cast a large shadow. Compare dialogue in BG3 to Starfield and Starfield just looks so old and outdated in animations alone.

Don't really care. If that's a thing some people are into then let 'em have it.

She was much thicker back then and had a cool BDSM pirate theme going on.
Maybe they'll sell her pirate/eyepatch look later.

It's just okay.
They took out what makes their games so enthralling and that's exploration and went way too heavily on the use of fast travel.
Instead of 1000 procedurally generated planets, most of which are barren, I feel like a few carefully crafted planets to explore would've been much better.

My friend and I came to the conclusion that she was probably very expensive, and probably charged by the hour, so they had her read the script on the first take and just dealt with what they had. MK is one of those games that doesn't need star power, but this was most likely done to satiate the WB heads who have no idea how video games work.

I can almost guarantee they saw her go kinda viral in Diablo IV advertising and the suits said find a spot for her.

Denuvo is proven to decrease performance.
It also effects modders and effectively locks them out.
It also can bug out and block legitimate customers from playing the games they paid for.

Just in time for the early access to begin they snuck in Denuvo on Steam.
After taking pre-orders and a demo to lure people in.

Feels kinda scummy to me, if you're gonna use Anti-Tamper you should be required to inform people the moment you start selling your game.

Thing is, it's been a year now since he bought Twitter and everyone still uses it like nothing has changed.

People are creatures of habit and Twitter became daily life for most of its users. Unless something clearly better comes along it'll be impossible uproot most users.
So far every attempt at a replacement is lacking in some way.

In Japan it had worse sales in than XV, wasn't it? Like around half of it in first week.

Not really a fair comparison. XV was multiplat and had insane hype around it.

He's really not. He said in his post that a lot of the show won't be there.
This is really amazing to me. There are a lot of people that work on these shows other than the writers and they need to make a living too.
His isn't the only show coming back either.

The USPS tracking is not very reliable. I've had statuses like that then suddenly the package showed up.
Also make sure you are there or have someone to watch like a hawk, at times they won't even try to deliver something and will mark it as nobody being home. They tried to pull that with my monitor when I was home the entire day waiting, had to go to the local office to get it myself.

Translation: HBO needs programming and the suits say we gotta come back.
Expect more shows like this to follow suit just like last time.

It could be interesting if it's just Bill interviewing important people, those are the best parts of his shows imo.

Currently it is trending upwards. Barring May and February every single month this year has had a higher player count than the last, and this month is shaping up to continue that trend. And the two months where it was down are kind of how it works with anything as essentially nothing will continue to be strict growth for as long as it has been with FFXIV.

It's also getting an Xbox release next year finally.
EU Fan Fest is in October which will only further fuel hype for upcoming content.
It has peaks and valleys if you watch month to month but long term it keeps growing.

He's a scumbag so this isn't surprising.

I have a feeling FFXVI will have yet another period of exclusivity with an Epic deal when it does come to PC.

They'll be fine. FF14 has an expansion next year which will sell like hotcakes along with the second game of the 7 remake.

Also Yoshida tried his best to temper expectations for FFXVI sales in various interviews pre-launch, guess the other execs at SE didn't listen to him.

That's true and he's been advised to stay out of these topics. But CE knows he only has a surface level understanding yet the same faces will troll him into a mire of debate knowing full well how it's going to end. Like a game to them. I find that kinda gross and always have.
