It's weird that the pre-fight ritual was acknowledged as a part of Godzilla's character, yet was never repeated by any of the other actors to play Godzilla. I guess it's sort of like James Bond tossing his hat onto the rack. Sean Connery did it in every film, but no 007 but Connery did it. It's even stranger that Ultraman exists, presumably as a TV show. I wonder how kids of that universe reacted to seeing the episode where the monster was Godzilla-with-a-lizard-frill. Kinda like Star Wars being a film series in the MCU. Anyone who knows Nick Fury might find Mace Windu familiar looking. |

| FortuneCookie 11/03/23 6:12:52 PM #1 | I'm not doing anything. My conscience won't let me watch a movie or play a video game, but I'm not writing. I'm giving little token efforts here and there and I'm piddling around online. I've had an outline for my story since April of last year. (That's before I bought the house I'm living in.) I've updated it periodically, but the time has come to sit down and write it. Also, I kinda see how bad movies can get made. Writers feel they need to modify and modify and modify until they eventually overmodify. At which point, they end up keeping the bad ideas they ended up with rather than the good ideas that they started with. That's because fatigue has started to set in and they need to put out something. I'm sure that bad books are the same way. It's just I'm more familiar with bad movies where I'll read trivia and think, "That's the idea they should have gone with." If I don't knuckle down and start writing, I'm going to become fatigued with this concept. Or else someone will put out a similar story before I do. There was a Disney film a year or two ago that made my heart skip a beat because I thought that they were going the same direction that I was with a story. I was grateful when I found out that wasn't the case. But maybe somebody else will stumble upon the same narrative that I have and publish it before I do. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep for an hour or so. I'm blaming it on that. I'm tired and lethargic. Yep, yep, yep. <_< |

If he's doing this genuinely, I guess that depends on what this particular incarnation of Kingpin is like. There have been times where he's been a Vito Corleone type who holds power and does evil things, but isn't 100% evil. Then there are other times where he'd laugh if he watched puppies drown. Whether or not this is in character for him depends on what this specific version is like. |
