It's aged fine. I assume if inquisition is on sale the others are as well. All worth it.

You know CEmen take things very personally. It's easily the most fun in the series to play and the story is and characters are fine too. People just get pissy because it's got a lot of open world list clearing stuff as well.

Never read the book but I think it's the other way around. Or I'm wrong about the book maybe

A lot of people thought it was pro fascism but it's got a lot of the same satire that the movie does, just a lot more subtle. It goes even further in a lot of places.

There's the rub. It's pretty damn hard to prove someone knew something and it's very easy to claim you didn't know. The former of which, pretty sure, is already illegal. Alex Jones got pretty thoroughly wrecked for his Sandy Hook mess.

Nothing. It glorifies it in universe. It's really just up to the viewer to say "this isn't really an ideal society".

No. It's much more of an open world game, and while there's a ton of options for gameplay, I don't think anyone would accuse it if being an immersive sim.

Blade from a pure "this would actually be fun as a game" standpoint, honestly. I like other heroes more, but... I can't really see a lot of them translating well to gameplay.

I think a lot of the bigger heroes wouldn't make very good games. I would much rather have a Hawkeye or Black Widow game than Iron Man or Captain America.

I used to love feature-length comedies as a kid and young adult, but they really fell off hard for me after the first Anchorman. Talladega Nights, Wedding Crashers, Superbad, Step Brothers...didn't care for any of them. Walk Hard was the lone exception, I liked that one.

The only feature-length comedies I've genuinely loved since then - Hot Fuzz, Deadpool, The Nice Guys - drift closer to action-comedy than just straight comedy.

I recently realized I haven't liked pretty much any straight up comedies that have been made since at least the mid 90's. I don't think I'd even care for Adam Sandler's stuff from then if I rewatched them now. Apatow and his crew completely ruined comedies for over a decade. I think we're just now starting to bounce back from that. The only really funny movies of the past couple decades have been hybrids like action comedies, comedy dramas, or horror comedies.

Speaking of Rob Zombie movies, House of 1000 Corpses really grew on me. I didn't care much for it at first, but my best friend loves it so I've ended up watching it many times and came to liking it. I like the weird music video-esque style it had. Both Bill Mosely and Sid Haig were amazing in it and The Devil's Rejects, which is even better.

Yeah, his style is great. His newer movies definitely aren't as good because he's clearly working with a much smaller budget outside the system but they're still a ton of fun. I hate that he basically got blacklisted after Halloween. He's apparently good friends with James Gunn. I'd love to see them team up and make something seriously fucked up and weird

Tarantino is a competent director and a horrible hack writer. His movies are carried by his style.

Nolan overall makes incredibly boring movies.

The MCU has not dropped in quality since Endgame. Phase 4 is actually consistently the best one so far. People just suddenly got some weird new expectations.

Coppola should not be remembered as one of the greatest directors of all time. You can count the number of movies people love on one hand and everything else he made is steaming crap no one remembers. Kubrick has twice as many classics with half the filmography.

Rob Zombie's Halloween's are both really solid, people just try too hard to compare them to the original. Most of his movies are great. I can completely understand people not being down with his style, but you can't deny that he has the style.

Because it's really basic. Everyone likes to travel. The same girls say they like food.

Its much more likely the person saying both sides is being tribalistic and using that line as a deflection. No I dont think what my side did was moral but you think your side is perfect? Both sides do bad things. Its a line that can be used to excuse literally anything.

But that is a wild assumption to make any time someone says "this argument has holes in it as well". That's how you get smooth brain shit like that comic.

Because tribalism is a helluva drug and people equate any critiquing of one (their) side as a wholesale promotion of the other side.

Just watching the trailers it looks like they're still on the first book? Seems like there's a consistent cast of characters so they're not doing all the time jumps. It looks like Hari is actually a main character in this so I don't even know what story they were telling with season 1. I doubt the show lasts until the Mule.

It looks awful. Seems like someone just knew that the books were about a scientist who can predict the future and ran with it.

This is why they never should have made lore for star wars. They look like Nazis because they look awesome and easily communicate who the bad guys are. The original trilogy barely had characters, let alone politics. The whole thing is just a pastiche of a hundred things. Retroactively trying to make them more like Nazis to fit the aesthetic is dumb.

Just like how procedural generation completely ended hand crafted map design.

Haven't played the originals yet but the two new ones are easily worth it. And it looks like steam has the bundle on sale for a dollar fifty right now. There's no reason not to get them all.
