I know CEmen are itching to call conservatives Nazis at any given opportunity but this is a pretty standard play for any politics. You want to make them seem weak in comparison but whenever they actually do something you don't like you can just say " see what they're allowed to get away with?" Pretty cool. Might consider getting Loki and Wandavision. I wish more services were open to doing this. I don't think waiting for all the facts has ever been a problem CE has. More like running down the street actively shitting their pants with their gun half cocked.

The only ones that come to mind are Firefly (pretty easy to do) and Doctor Who, which I'm due for another rewatch of soon. A bunch of others that I'd like to rewatch some time but I don't watch much TV to begin with.

It just seems silly to say "let's just not ever make black people enemies in games, just in case". You shouldn't have to treat black people with kid gloves.

And I know Japan doesn't have the best track record with representation of black people but the tribesmen were at least explained in the game. It seems like they wanted the iconography of traditional African dress and made up a reason to do it. Pretty harmless.

All games have been just like that for a long time now. People can't stop talking about them, and then a month later it vanished.
The only ones in recent memory that have been able to escape that are Smash Ultimate, BotW, and Witcher 3.

I always think it's insulting when people talk about American Chinese food but frame it as being not "real" Chinese food. Sure, it's not dishes that you would likely find in China, but it is full of dishes created by Chinese immigrants with the ingredients they had on hand that worked for the palette of those eating it. Calling it "not real" is really no different than someone from one region of China claiming that the cuisine in another region isn't real Chinese food just because it's a little different.

People do the same thing with tex mex. It's just a way for people to feel snobby like they know something you don't.
