I could see the protagonist joining the Enforecers if he thought they were a necessary evil. Also, he's the only one without powers? Seems like that should play way more into the story. He's inherently an outsider from the force. Why did he want to join so badly that he would obtain tech in order to pretend and assumedly face dire punishment if he was found out?

You may feel like they are "like you" but they are just people who have a whole spectrum of their own thoughts and opinions, some of which can be shitty. And although being aggresive towards someone is not generally nice I think it's ok for people to have whatever preferences they want. If yours don't align it's unfortunate but most peoples' preferences aren't lesser. It's just what happens when you throw so many different unique individuals under one umbrella that consists of a single aspect of who they are.

Have to agree about Oppenheimer. I've never been a huge fan of Nolan, especially his blockbusters, but I expected this to be a fairly by the numbers but really well made and pretty biopic. Instead it was weird nonlinear narrative with dozens of characters popping in and out, multiple plot threads that don't really go anywhere, unannounced time jumps, and a third act twist villain reveal.
