I'm non-monogomous and not jealous. I've wanted to open relationships in the past but my partners haven't been as interested. Even in relationships that are unambiguously started as casual hookups, I've had people develop feelings and become jealous and hurt when I won't commit to them.

I don't think there's anything morally wrong with open relationships in general - assuming they are built on a foundation of honest communication - but even when given those assumptions, I think most people naturally yearn for commitment and will just wind up getting hurt.

Sidon is one of the most likable characters ever.

It's just his hair, which I'm assuming is deliberate for whatever character he's playing. Shave that off and he looks good.

I've been feeling the fatigue in a way that didn't hit me with BotW's first playthrough.

I was excited when I heard about their "limited time" Reuben sandwich a few years ago, but it was so bad that I haven't been back sense. This topic piqued my interest enough to check the prices at my local Subway, and a footlong tuna is $10.29.

I'll take Little Caesars anyday.

If it's possible to vaguely answer this without spoilers, I'd appreciate it: I'm thinking of going to Eventide, and I only have five hearts. I have no idea if the gameplay there will be similar to what we were treated to in BotW, but I have a feeling it is.

Given my low health, will this be extremely frustrating? Oh, and I do have max stamina, so at least sprinting for days is an option.

Gotta say, illuminating the depths, darkroot by darkroot, while crossreferencing both maps for topography and shrine location... is some surprisingly addictive and amazing gameplay.

Does anyone know if the "Attack Up in hot/cold weather" gear stacks with the regular Attack Up stat?

Here I am still hitting an enemy with an ice weapon and then smacking them with my strongest sword because efficiency

Also, is it just me or are arrows way easier to acquire than they were in BotW? I have over 400 and haven't spent a single Rupee. Probably because you make your own elementals with regular arrows?

Have you guys heard about the dupe glitch?

You can duplicate just about any item. It's a very simple glitch to perform, the only requirements being two bows. I dupe'd my one diamond a few times and will probably max out my diamond stock before they patch this thing out.

After a somewhat lackluster opening (I was lukewarm toward the tutorial area), good ol' exploration and discovery around Hyrule is winning me back. I can already tell that there's much more verticality than in BotW even on mainland Hyrule, with caves and wells dotting the landscape. Stumbling on the Climbing Gear this early on got me really pumped.

I feel like I'm gonna be loving this after I re-familiarize myself with the controls. Like BotW, this is a game that uses every button on my pro controller, and not really in the most intuitive ways.

I'm surprised it took this long for a dedicated game discussion topic, but thank you for making it.

Anyway, I had a mini launch party last night with a couple friends, wherein one of them announced she was expecting her first baby <3

We dinked around in the opening until reaching Ultrahand and all called it a night. Given the baby announcement and the casual vibe with friends, I wasn't as absorbed in the (what seemed to be awesome) intro last night, so I'll probably restart later this morning and fully engross myself in.
