New IP's will always carry some form of risk and the odds of them getting a big budget to stand up to the likes of MCU movies are going to be miniscule. --- DI MOLTO! |

You're right, I never saw it but almost everyone that I know that has seen it all come to the same conclusion, it's inferior to the animated movie. It's apples to oranges comparison, but Top Gun Maverick also took time to take off before it made over a billion dollars off the BO. Little Mermaid? Not soo much. I'm sure there's a lot of hate for Little Mermaid for having a black actress, but most of the well deserved hate is simply being inferior over the animated movies... you know like almost all of the live action flicks. I wish Disney would go after all the IP's they had that flopped or got bad reviews and make those into live action movies but try to improve on them, instead of taking something already great and making something worst. --- DI MOLTO! |

Yeah I'll give the game that, it did try to have some depth for a Anime/Manga battle arena game. I probably wouldn't be so hard on the game if it didn't try to sell itself as a full $60 game, but that's probably more on the publishers then anything. But yeah the My Hero Academia and One Punch Man game were terribad. Arena Fighters in general are just bad games.
