I also feel Vegeta didn't need to go oozaru since Goku pretty much had to push his body beyond his limits to match him in strength. It's more of a pride thing, he wants to absolutely crush Goku for drawing blood. Well, we (the readers) know that Vegeta didnt need to go Oozaru. But he didnt. From his perspective, he just received a hand-to-hand ass whooping and then one of his stronger attacks was completely overwhelmed. He felt backed into a corner. Had Vegeta simply continued the fight without going Oozaru, one could make a point that the fight could have gone better for Vegeta. As you mentioned, Goku was spent. He was running on fumes already. Oozaru Vegeta could have destroyed Goku in a heartbeat, but he was playing with his food. In his normal form, Vegeta also could have (unknowingly to him) beaten Goku in a heartbeat. Or at the very least, lest Goku as a crippled, shattered person same as Oozaru Vegeta. Except the problem with going Oozaru is that Vegeta weakened himself noticeably in the process. Possibly by as much as a few to several thousand. And that was energy that Vegeta really needed at the end of the fight on Earth. Again, not stating this as fact. Whyd the Saiyans even bother planning their attacks for nights when theres a full moon? Doesnt that make them much more predictable? Compared to say, sneaking some warriors onto a planet in the daytime then making an energy moon substitute for surprise ape attack Saiyans were usually far, far stronger than most races. Raditz was considered to be a weak Saiyan with a power of roughly 1,000. Nappa was around 8,000 and he was stronger than the god of the entire northern galaxy. So if weak Oozaru Saiyans would have a power of around 10,000, theyd be far, far stronger than only the strongest in the galaxy. And Oozaru Vegeta at 180,000 would be the 2nd strongest in the galaxy. Were in the middle of a real life game of monopoly, with a few people and corporations slowly gaining control over more and more assets. Until this is resolved, it will just mean that the poverty line will slowly creep higher and higher.

What is even the appeal of something like this At the very least, Ive had hot sauces that pack a ton of punch. Ive done the Hot Ones gauntlet a few times, and Da Bomb kicked my ass (I only tried the true version of Da Bomb once). For me, it was just seeing others do something and me wondering I wonder how I would fare. And I would say it was worth my while. But regarding the Pacqui chip, Ive heard from people I know who have done it and said they got a terrible stomach ache. One person threw up from it.
