I'm sure Disney's going to make sure they get the max possible. They're probably going to make an example out of them so that this doesn't catch on.

While Disney World is known as The Most Magical Place on Earth, that doesnt mean that every moment inside the Disney parks is exactly what you think it would be.

According to a guest sharing their experience at Disneys Typhoon Lagoon, there was a rather disturbing incident involving a group of young boys that caught the attention of Disney World park visitors and led to a quick response from park officials. The usually family-friendly wave pool turned into a scene of shock when a cluster of boys, who appeared to be teenagers, gathered in the shallow end. What happened next left people in shock and disbelief.

According to witnesses, these boys, in a rather odd and unpleasant display of behavior, decided to pull down their swim trunks and, in what seemed like a planned act, did something unsanitary in the clear water. This event was quite unpleasant, and it ruined the enjoyable atmosphere that Disney works so hard to create in its parks. Visitors quickly left the pool, with many feeling shocked and disgusted.

I was swimming in the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon when a group of boys gathered in a circle in the shallow end, the guest said. They all pulled down their trunks and pooped in the water together like some kind of horrible ceremony. I got out of there as fast as I could and told the nearest cast member, and the whole wave pool was promptly cleared out.

The Disney Cast members, known for their commitment to making guests happy, responded very professionally. They quickly got in touch with security and park management to handle the situation. The news of this alleged incident spread and the entire wave pool area was cleared to ensure everyone was safe and that the park stayed clean and enjoyable.

This reported incident reminds us of Disneys strong dedication to keeping the magical experience alive for guests, even when unexpected and unpleasant things happen.

If you have to use the facilities at a Disney park, please use one of the restrooms, which are conveniently located all over the place. If you have trouble finding one, please find your nearest Disney Cast member and theyll point you in the right direction.

Police in Arvada, CO are searching for a man who broke into the George Meyers Pool at 7900 Carr Street earlier this week. The man was wearing leopard print underwear and a grey long-sleeve shirt in the security video.

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/7/2/6/AAcJoVAAE9j2.jpg

According to police, he was wearing pants when he initially broke into the pool but didn't have them on when the video captured him smashing what appears to be a speaker through the window.

An employee, a lifeguard coming to work, noticed the burglary just before 5 a.m. Thursday. Officers rushed to the pool where they found three broken windows and approximately $4,000 to $5,000 in damage to the building and items inside.

City facility employees worked hard to get the building open by 4 p.m. According to the City of Arvada, the George J. Meyers Swimming Center, also known as Meyers Pool, is a 50-meter aquatics facility owned by the City of Arvada and operated and maintained by the Apex Park and Recreation District.

The suspect also has a tattoo on his right forearm.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the Arvada Police Department at 720-898-6900.

An NYPD officer and her boyfriend are facing charges for allegedly conspiring to distribute dangerous narcotics.

Investigators say the officer, Grace Rosa Baez, and Cesar Martinez offered to sell large quantities of fentanyl, heroin and cocaine to an informant.

Police say the suspects brought a fentanyl sample in a gum container to the informant during one of several meetings over the past two weeks.

Baez and Martinez were arrested Thursday near their Yonkers apartment after a meeting to complete a transaction.

Agents say they found a kilo press and suspected drug packages inside the apartment.

Baez had been on modified duty since 2020 and was under departmental investigation for alleged misconduct.

https://ew.com/music/ye-kanye-west-not-running-for-president-2024/

Ye will not be part of the fray in 2024.

After a failed long-shot bid for the White House in 2020, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West will not challenge President Joe Biden next November, according to his personal attorney, Bruce Marks.

Marks told Rolling Stone, "He's not a candidate for office in 2024."

Ye's Kanye 2020 political committee has set aside $0 for primaries in all 50 states, according to a filing with the Federal Election Commission, which reports expenditures for January to September of this year. Kanye 2020 didn't raise any money in the most recent reporting period and overall has less than $25,000 cash on hand, per reports.

Representatives for Ye didn't immediately respond to EW's request for comment Thursday.

Ye was never considered a serious contender for president in his first bid, only appearing on the ballot in 12 states as a third-party candidate. He has largely avoided the spotlight in recent months amid the fallout from a string of antisemitic remarks and erratic behavior, though he is reportedly shopping a new record.

Ye's alarming hate speech included him praising Hitler to Alex Jones and getting temporarily removed from Twitter (now known as X) after posting a swastika.

Such conduct prompted Adidas and other brands to cut ties with him at the end of 2022, with the shoemaker issuing a statement saying, "Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness."

An anonymous source close to West did tell Rolling Stone that the door isn't entirely closed but "there's no plan to do [run for president] there's no campaign structure or anything along those lines in place."

They called the chances of West mounting a campaign "beyond remote."
West has not commented publicly about the prospect of him running for office in 2024.

https://apnews.com/article/jim-jordan-ohio-voters-gop-speaker-vote-56038ee563ff0479a223240ac93b1e2c

Rep. Jim Jordan, so far, has failed to get the needed votes to become House Speaker but his fight for the coveted leadership role isnt done, and the devotion of many of his constituents back in Ohio seems unwavering.

In Washington, Jordan has made a name for himself as a conservative pugilist in line with his avid supporter, former President Donald Trump by being unafraid to duke it out in the political arena, especially against his Democratic colleagues. Hes a founder of the Freedom Caucus, a contingent of cantankerous and often chaotic far-right House Republicans, and hes one of the loudest voices continuing to perpetuate false claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

In Ohio, Jordan is a hometown boy whose Ohio State University wrestling coach title, conservative policies and never-say-die persona on Capitol Hill have earned him more devotion than hes currently receiving in Congress.

He says what he believes in, because hes there for the people, said Betty Lemmon, a 77-year-old Republican from Champaign County. Jordan, she said, would make an excellent House speaker, citing a track record of his leading the ideological charge for Trump, who she voted for in both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections.

It was a common theme on a cloudy fall day in downtown Urbana, Ohio an oasis of cafes and antique stores in the sprawling, rich farmland that makes up most of Jordans district. Its a district Jordan won with nearly 70 percent of the vote in the last election, and one that the Ohio Supreme Court has ruled multiple times to be unconstitutional under gerrymandered congressional maps drawn by Jordans fellow Republicans.

Constituents interviewed by the Associated Press applauded his fighting spirit and conservative stances on federal issues like border security and abortion.

Several liked that he still refuses to comply with a congressional subpoena about the Jan. 6 attack at the Capitol and is leading the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, touting a stick it to the man attitude.

Cynthia Leach, a Republican store owner in Urbanas Monument Square, called Jordan not easily persuaded and forceful qualities she said she admires in a leader.

But for all his stances and inquiries, Jordans achievements as a legislator are harder to spot. While Russell Dye, a spokesperson for Jordan, noted in an email that Jordan has signed his name to support over 60 bills created by other legislators that have become law, no bill Jordan has sponsored himself has had much movement in the House since he was first elected in 2006.

When asked about what Jordan has done specifically for his district, Dye did not cite any of Jordans legislation, but instead pointed to casework for constituents. Congressman Jordan has always done what he told the voters he would do whether its assisting seniors getting Medicare and Social Security benefits, expediting passports, helping veterans, meeting with thousands of constituents, or touring hundreds of businesses in Ohios 4th district and the constituents know it.

But there are voices critical of Jordan even in the heavily Republican district.
Sherry Vaught, a Democratic mayoral candidate in Mansfield, had harsh criticism for the Ohio congressman as his possible speakership looms. She said Jordan has been too busy dividing the U.S. House to get any real work done for the people he represents.

While hes busy scoring points in political theater and pursuing partisan agendas, the people are struggling with real issues right here at home, Vaught said in a statement.

But what Jordans done so far appeals to his supporters, who said they are proud to have such a vocal, well-known and brawling representative in their corner. Theyre happy that hes become a Trump darling, a possible federal leader and one of the most talked about politicians in the country.

How he gets people talking is part of his appeal, said Herb Asher, a political science professor at The Ohio State University. Jordans seat is ideal for a Republican like him a red district in a red state thats embraced more radical Republicans like Sen. J.D. Vance in recent years.

There are many people who are happy to have a member of Congress who says what they think, Asher said.

JD Knopp, an 18-year-old resident of Mechanicsburg, Ohio just outside Urbana, said he thinks Jordan will make a great leader for a divided Republican party.

He doesnt take crap off of anybody. Hes a country boy, he said.

Knopp likes that Jordan puts other politicians in their place and his drain the swamp mentality. Whether Jordan becomes speaker wont affect his opinion, but it might change how he views those who keep the congressman from winning the speakership.

I guess theyre RINOs, then, Knopp shrugged, referring to a term used to describe Republicans in name only.
