That reminds me, another thing that's transferred from a BotW save file is any stabled horses you had, turns out. I had the quest horses in there (the white one and the huge dark one), so I have them now too.

Why isn't the teleporting saddle in this game? Horses were already gonna be irrelevant with the introduction of vehicles, sky islands you can warp to and glide from, and a huge underground where you (basically) can't take your horse. Why wouldn't they just add the telehorse to the base game and throw them a bone?

A man who has a lot of money and career has a far bigger and better chance of getting women and maintaining relationships compared to a broke man who has nothing going for him and who has no drive.

Having a good job/career, looking good, making decent money, being able to talk to people, having ambition puts a man at a higher chance of attracting and maintaining relationships with higher quality women. This is because unlike the broke man, the higher quality guy has value. A person making 6 figures or even around that range will be looked on as more valuable than a janitor cleaning bathrooms.

If a guy even hints he's broke/doesn't make money and doesn't want to change, he has no future with most women. If a person outright claims they have no job, that will be a turnoff.

It's just creepy, regardless of gender or sexuality. Obviously there are exceptions where it works out and the couple is in a healthy place, but a lot of times it's obvious the older half has no game and gets put in their place by others their own age so they resort to younger people.

Typically the older one is someone who finally has something that makes them attractive to young people (alcohol, disposable income, own a home, etc.) because they couldn't date when they were younger because on an even ground it's revealed how shit their personality is.

A lot of times the older one is a guy who can't get a woman his own age. E.g.:
Divorced guy who suddenly goes for younger women because women his own age can see the red flags and won't put up with the BS
Late-bloomer types who are starting college later or their career was postponed, when women his own age have graduated and are a few years into their career, why date a guy who is studying for finals?
Rich guy who pays for stuff and expects sex in return because he doesn't want an equal partner but instead a fucktoy.
Etc.

Again, large age-gaps can be healthy and work out, but they get an automatic side-eye especially if the older person exclusively dates younger

I don't quite agree. Most of the weapons I've made have been pretty durable. And some of the new weapon bonuses seem to mitigate the general tankiness of Silver enemies. Like just take the Knight weapons for example with their flurry rush damage bonus. It's very noticeable how much more damage you do with a flurry rush compared to just whacking them around normally.

And of course there are other ways of preserving melee hits. I always like opening up fights that have Silver enemies by shooting a Muddlebud at them. They can usually easily kill the weaker enemies nearby, and they take a little bit of chip damage in the process.

As an example I just fused the Colgera jaw to the master sword and it didnt even last long enough to kill a silver bokoblin

Feel like enemies are even more of damage sponges this time around, or its just not as easy to get high damage weapons

silver enemies all over now and they take way too long to whittle down health on. Its frustrating that high level damage sponge enemies need high level damage sponge enemy parts to be fused to weapons, but those parts are also needed for armor upgrading, giving a feeling of wasting them if you use them to fuse

idk the balance of everything just feels off. Shouldnt take nearly two 40+ damage weapons to kill a silver bokoblin

Idk about then, but I was always sus of that age gap among the people I knew who dated like that. That, and it wasn't common. I think I only knew like maybe half-a-dozen at most who dated or were otherwise in a relationship with an age gap like while in their 20s. There could be normal relationships with that age gap, and almost certainly are, I just haven't seen them.

There should be a law that that makes it illegal to have more than a 7 year age gap between the man and woman.

Im 29 and I wouldnt even date a 21 year old. Its pretty weird to me. Once you meet a certain age you shouldnt be pursuing women that young IMO.

Its not inherently wrong, but the potential for abuse can be much greater and extra care needs to be taken to avoid problematic dynamics in the relationship (financial, emotional, psychological, etc)

Yeah, there are countless times in TotK (to use the most recent examples in my mind) where an NPC will ask Link a question, and he'll gesture as though he were speaking in a world where it's impossible to speak without gesticulating, and the NPC will respond according to the answer that we know Link would give. "What happened?" *Gesture* "You saw the princess, but then she disappeared? Whoa!" He has no actual dialogue, but everything about the scripts of those interacting with him suggests that he is actually speaking, and he's saying more or less what we would.

This also isn't unique to Zelda. To use my next-most-recent example, Xenoblade has numerous scenes where an NPC will ask about recent events, and rather than making the player sit through an explanation of something that they already fully understand because it just happened, the scene will just cut out and resume with the NPC reacting to that explanation that the player knows the party gave in the cut. It helps to keep things flowing by not taking the time to reiterate redundant information. Zelda's just relatively unique in that Link doesn't say anything except (meow) in response to people (and an implied greeting when we talk to NPC's), which frames the story as unfolding around him (and the player) instead of him being an active participant beyond what the player is doing.

Of course, that's awkward to translate into a movie, where stories unfold around characters onscreen instead of around the viewer. This is most likely why they opted to have him talk for the TV show.

Yeah, as much as Link is a silent protagonist in the sense of us never seeing/hearing his dialogue, other characters routinely react as though he has said things (the implication being that he's saying whatever we would say in his position).

I think it could work if there is a reasonable backstory to why he doesn't talk. Vow of silence, irreversible laryngeal damage after being choked or something, witch/warlock spell causing mutism, maybe he was just born mute.

There are plenty of characters Link interacts with to provide dialogue, and it'd be kind of cool seeing the silent protagonist trope actually be played out in a movie.

There's very little point if you don't remember that it's happening, and if you did it would suck. I'd say the "best" option would be to relive the best decade of your life and remember so you can do things differently every time.

The pacing was nonsense, full of boring tropes, exactly one good joke that they ran into the ground (the nihilist luma), an underutilized Jack Black, and somehow less imaginative than the 90s movie. It also had tons of predictable licensed music and completely random choices. Why the Mario kart thing? The kongs waste half the movie and then get trounced in an instant.

No please don't. I don't want to hear everyone's plans for a Nintendo Cinematic Universe until the end of time. We already did that a couple months ago, I thought we collectively realized that was a dumb thing.

I hope it's animated. Actually an anime style or any 2d animation would be really neat. As long as it's got a darker theme (OoT or TP vibes) and they don't try to voice Link, then I'm all for it.
