a) things are worse elsewhere as far as statistics go. cops don't help poverty, they just exacerbate it. populations of unhoused people are increasing everwhere. cops only serve to harass them from location to location. they are useless.

b) I dunno, I find it weird that you say you can think of these things (cops doing good things), but aren't using examples. I can think of a few 'good' instances too. The cops here took out a couple of psycho bank robber brothers that wanted to kill cops. It was a month after Uvalde and they didn't hesitate whatsoever. I'm also not just talking about 'what I see here' on...PotD. I'm talking about the accumulation of media, both pro and anti cop. I see way more corruption than I see good.

c) them not being trained to de-escalate is the problem. I don't personally work for places that don't protect me. It's sad that cops don't have that pride.

There are fucking piles of constructive criticism that has happened. Stations and organizations love to ignore it. That's why people are mad.

I also strongly dislike them because these days 80% of their job seems to be confiscating the belongings of homeless people and telling them to move to another park where they'll do the same thing in 3 months.

The other 20% of their job appears to be inconsistent traffic policing.

I find the evidence bears out the opposite. I hear 0 cops speaking out in the capital city I live in when they fuck up. They'll claim there's mass 'violence against police' when there's a traffic accident involving someone hitting a cop car. Then they'll bloody well cream someone in the middle of an intersection, and it's all 'la dee da'. They don't get my respect whatsoever. My sister is an ER nurse, and nurses statistically face MORE violence than police. However, nurses have training de-escalation training. You don't see nurses abusing their power. You see cops do it every week. My sister has literally watched cops throw her patients to the ground and then attempt to pressure her into saying it was the patient's fault.

I find that most 'good' cops are complacent and don't do shit about the bad cops in their department and actively protect them.

I do believe ACAB but it's not because all cops are violent. It's because the system they perpetuate and support is violent so why would they want to be a part of it?

Each game was a half, the 4th half was inside the temple itself.

The temple games featured the two remaining teams competing in three physical challenges to earn Pendants of Life which the winning team used in the final round. Several different types of temple games were featured, with the episode's legend serving as a theme for each. Most temple games lasted for a maximum of 60 seconds but some were untimed. After each challenge, the winning team received some portion of a protective Pendant of Life. The first two challenges, pitting single members from each team against one another, were worth one half of a pendant, while the final challenge, involving both contestants on both teams, was worth a full pendant. If a temple game ended in a tie, both teams received the pendant value of that game.

Coincidentally last week, and happy to say I got it. I even got what I asked for as I believe I fucked up how I went about it.

And like, spare me this ohhh I'd break up with them first, cuz can't imagine putting someone through the pain of cheating. As if getting broken up with someone you cared that much about isn't extremely painful and you sure can imagine tossing them to the curb just to smash randoms. Things aren't so simple is all.

It's everywhere. I've also become more open about my indiscretions, and it often just takes one person at the table to admit "yeah... I've cheated" before others open up and admit the same. It's not something I condone, and I certainly don't believe "everyone's cheated," but I have seen that it is common enough that I don't revile cheaters as subhuman or anything (it's kinda difficult to revile yourself, after all). Life often gets difficult and people make poor decisions.

I've slept with around 6 women that were married to someone else and messed around with a few more. It always seemed acceptable while starting in my deluded mind. I in the past have cheated often too. I grew out of it. There came a day when I said "no more" to myself and I've kept my word. My wife now knows of every little past indiscretion I've ever had. I told her of every occurrence so she was aware of my past before we got together. I have never and will never cheat on her. That lifestyle is behind me. In the military infidelity was all around me, I got so used to it there. It truly is, as I was, disgusting.
