Not only did they make a Water Temple that doesn't suck, they made a Water Temple that's actually really fun.

I actually liked it. But its been split from what I heard. Some people seemed to really dislike it, while others seemed to love it Even some people on YouTube seem to hate it, or say its the worst temple With the other temple, people either seem meh or like it. So far, the water temple is the one I hear people not liking the most

Its kind of funny J recently saw the trailer again where they made like a tall battle tank and spinning laser death trap on an enemy base But the gamers are more like, Heres a giant wooden man with a dick that shooting whatever you want it to shoot

yeah it is I just have a grudge against anime because it always seems like something really cool that I should like, but then I watch them and I think that just the writing and storytelling in most of them is so droll and uninspired

and these decals are so cheap looking. Go to like some actual garage where they can make anime characters look stylistically cool and aesthetically pleasing

Its not always going to be for everyone. Just like how some people like certain anime, some people just like very few Not everyone will like every anime

As for the stickers, it probably just depends. Some may not have that much extra spending money, so buy the cheaper ones Some may look for certain characters, and may no be able to find them easily, or a lot of them, so get what they can. Some may look cheap to you, but look fine to others. It just all depends

I finally had enough of it and just rigged up a way to use my pro controller, keep my Switch screen plugged in, and without having to use docked mode on my TV.

Side note, having the charge port on the bottom of the console was fucking dumb.

Its probably there since it helps with docked mode That said, its no the best when trying to charge while playing handheld I think use my weird standing desk at work to help since I can set the switch charging port over a hole big enough for the cable to get through Just got lucky there, I guess

Nah They were pretty easy. I actually fought all the kings, but none of the regular ones

The plot and character design was a letdown after 3H, but I otherwise enjoyed it. Gameplay wise I haven't enjoyed FE this much since I first played Conquest back when it released. I will say that I appreciate Alear being an actual character unlike Byleth, because it still pains me that the only fully voiced FE had a mute MC.

It's probably never gonna happen again but I hope we go back to not having avatars someday.

I remember they said one thing, though That I can remember, at least. I think it was when I was talking to that lady teacher. And one of the random lines was voiced I still have no idea why, though

You're right but my point was more that if you get them out of order, you can end up seeing the conclusion to that part of the story without any context. Big spoiler and barely coherent. They should have had them play in order regardless of which Glyphs you found.

The conclusion isnt really the only thing that matters. Like I think by the third of fourth glyph, I figured out how it would end. But the more interesting part was how it got to that point to begin with. Especially since based on BotW and the beginning of this game, we knew at least partly how it would end in the past Its like that old phrase, Its the journey that counts. Not the destination.

Yet Ultra hand and the other abilities you get access to in TotK lets Link do similar things but break the game even more.

I mean I like TotK for the most part, but I know how you feel TC and kind of feel the same. It's a unnecessary sequel and it isn't really a great, unique sequel and sits firmly between BotW expansion and sequel considering how many assets and areas are reused. It's overpriced and took Nintendo 6 YEARS to deliver this to us. If the Zelda / Nintendo fanboys weren't used to getting the same stuff rehashed and lapping it up happily people would see TotK for the halfhearted cash grab it really is.

I mean, sure. They reused assets. But that makes sense for a sequel set in the same area. They still added another area the size of the map. And a bunch of key areas, too Not to mention, caves and new enemies As someone who played BotW, it still feels like a new game and area, for the most part

I'm gonna be honest and just straight fess up that I didn't really like TotK. I found it annoying and tedious to play almost the entire way through, and gameplay aside even the story was told in a bizarre and out of order way (if you don't look up the correct order to collect the glyphs) as well as being incredibly lazy by playing out almost the exact same sequence of events at least 4 times. It also somewhat completely ignored anything that came before and made next to no effort connecting the plot to BotW, it was practically a soft-reboot. The final boss through to the credits was epic, though.

I'll be sad if the next Zelda is again more of the same because I've had my fill of this formula already.

You dont have to find the glyphs is the correct order. You just find them Of you want to watch them in order afterwards, you can But AFAIK, you dont have to find them in order

But from what I heard, I believe they said this will be the new formula going forward Could be wrong, but thats what I heard

I think I like this game more

The only power I really miss is Stasis Though, recall is pretty cool and super useful, so its ok Cryonis could be useful in some cases, as well But I can usually find other ways to do stuff in water Untrahand just seems better than Magnesis is every way, though

As For the weapon system, I personally dont mind But its also the only reason I really try our new weapons Without it, I would miss out on a ton of things Haha. But I do understand its not for everyone

All you need is a couple of leave days for work Then you have loads of free time

Arrows with enemy eyeballs make fighting Gleeoks significantly easier, especially when paired with Migjty Lynel bows (which allows you to straight up not have to worry about their final phase since you can shoot them out of the sky before they can get high enough to get out of grounded arrow range).

Yep. And since the lynel now shoots multiple arrows, it can easily take out each head in one shot So, just three arrows and eyes to down it each time And rocket shield before they go in the air And even if they do, rocket shield gets you high enough for homing arrows, so

They cant. But the video didnt catch much, either We never saw an actually attack that we can clearly tell was an attack. I literally just finished that. I learned you can fast travel away and heal/restock in between battles

Also there are some stairs in that arena, but when I jump off of them to bullet time shoot the Lynels in the face, the stun sound effect plays but they don't actually get stunned. Maybe the devs didn't want us to cheese them that way

Noticed another strange design decision. For the Labyrinths, the game just tells you where the four points are if you activate the quest in your log. It's so strange the things that they want you to find and what they'll just give you for free.

I thought about that, too But you still have to get to them Some were easy. But some made you go down in another area, and travel through tunnel

I may have waited a bit too long before doing the wind temple. Once I finished, I went back to Josah to follow up on her quest, and I had already completed the next couple follow up quests (finding the central mine, getting Autobuild, the first Kohga fight). Then Robbie went back to his lab, so I went to visit him, and I already had all of the pad upgrade quests completed because I'd explored so much already. So that was fun.

Same thing for me I had done pretty much a bunch of quest, so it was mostly me telling them I finished the quest as soon as I got it

I played a lot of Age of Calamity so I got REALLY good at flurry rushing Lynels, so that coliseum was no big thing for me lol

Im much better at parrying when it comes to Zelda, so I was perfect parrying a lot instead Haha

I dont think its possible to find him until you make it to lost woods, that will give you a tracker and make him fly lower.

You most definitely dont have to go to the Lost Woods first I think the light dragon starts to fly lower after all the tears, but I cant be 100% sure Doing the Lost Woods is good for the tracker, though Assuming you havent finished the quest already

But the dragon does start flying lower at certain spots. That said, flying high isnt too bad because it could make it easier to see from the sky islands

A lot of places straight up fine you if you don't keep your grass at some specific level of greenness and length. It's ridiculous. Also, I personally find a more natural lawn with native plants that thrive in the environment you're in? Even if they don't look as good as a perfectly manicured green lawn? They look at hell of a lot better than a half dead brown summer lawn.

Mine only fines for the length, and not the greenness So, we dont have to waste water here. As for the lawn, its also fine in the summer The only brown comes from where the pet pee, which is usually out back. And thats only if they keep going in the same spot over and over But they will spread out normally

So, the lawns most people have seem to still be better than the natural lawns wed have That said, its all about perspective. It possible you would love the natural lawns here, while others would hate it I personally dont like the native stuff here, and would hate the natural lawn that would grow here, as many others would (based on who I know) Where others would love it, and would love it more than the perfectly manicured lawns

Lawns are a waste of resources ,typically hurt biodiversity, and serve little functional purpose.

Turn them in to gardens. Grow something native to the region.

Grass is only a huge waste of water if youre always watering it I never water mine. And many of my neighbors dont. It depends on the area. Ive lived in places where the grass around everyones house was perfect all the time because people keep it perfect. And Ive live in places like my current place where we just cut it when its too long. Tbf, the perfectly manicured grass does look really nice Not really something I care about, but I do understand why some people like it

A lawn that's composed of local plant life. The kinds of grasses people use on their lawn? They're not native grasses typically. Thus why there's a move here specifically to try to encourage people to move away from a grass lawn and instead go for stuff like clover and certain mosses, the sorts of ground cover you find naturally in the area if you look at places that aren't sculpted by humans.

It would probably work for some places The regular grass in my area is pretty shitty, though Lawns look much better At least, to me and the others around me Nobody where I am gets crazy over grass, though they keep their lawns cut But we also get fined if we dont

I suppose the idea for the minibosses at least is that they want you to find them on your own and mark the map with a stamp to mark that you did it.

I dont mind marking them if I havent beat them yet But I feel they should mark it once Ive defeated it

If they were going to jam so much in the game. I dont see why they didnt just have a checklist for it. Even if they did put the marks on the map, it would be so cluttered you wont know what youre missing.

My respect and dismay goes out to anyone trying to 100% the game

If they did the checklist like the spider-man games (which also let you filter what showed on the map), that would have worked really well here

I understand the game isn't trying to hold your hand, but in the ways that it does assist you it seems very halfyway done. The game will show you caves via the Satori, and it'll even mark acquired Bubbul Gems on your map. But, the Satoris show you every cave whether you got the gems or not. Minibosses are displayed as defeated, but only once you start fighting them and not directly marked on the map. Addison doesn't seem to be marked at all.

Yeah. They could help a little more. Marking mini bosses you defeated and Addison on our map would make sense since we should know where those things are Same with Satoris help. Why not just show us the ones we havent gotten the frog from yet?

Yup, my mom just put in new grass and it drives me a bit nuts. She could get a tax incentive to put in a natural lawn, I think the choices are certain mosses or clover. She however went with grass because she's a boomer and well boomers love their ridiculous lawns.

Uuggghhhhh. I just have two more frogs to find for my boy Koltin, but he long ago stopped sensing them and Satori's reports are letting me down, too. I swear there was only one beacon for a hill with two different caves earlier today. I've resorted to just wandering the kingdom with Sensor+ tuned to the frogs. Tomorrow I'll hafta hit up some more Satori trees and quintuple check all the beacons. >_<

Does Satori only show you caves you havent completed?
