If you manage to obtain a gloom weapon, you can avoid its downside by fusing it to a normal weapon (but don't do it the other way around! It'll still have its downside if you use it as the base and fuse something to it)

I do this all the time They have good strength, so that can make other weapons really good. And I dont have to worry about the bad parts

you can find them in bronas forest, across the river at the lakeside stable all the way at the bottom of the map. they're on trees starting at 7PM, only when it's not raining

Yeah its definitely annoying. I think they ultimately didnt want any machine that could fly indefinitely, regardless of battery life upgrades or design choices.

The wing designs could easily fly forever, with tons of possibilities.

I get it and I dont. You dont explore nearly as much/thoroughly once you start flying

If anything, they should have allowed us to upgrade the length or something

Not getting this game for a while, but watched a bit of it on YouTube to get a feel. Are the teal translucent companions as annoying as they seem? Theyre literally always there, and if you turn them off you also lose key abilities that you would generally want active.

I just dont like using their power when I dont want to And that happens when looting

It really depends. Normally, I will. But if Im in a hurry, I might not... If its a small stall. If its like the big one where you cant see if anyone is in it until you enter, Ill also close it

I have like 15-20 physical. The rest digital I usually try to only get digital if the game is digital only Other than that, I go physical Mostly so I can easily share with friends and family. But also to take up less space on my card and system

Im mostly doing sky island and shrines I got all the lightroots some days ago, and decided to use those to find some surface shrines And there are many sky islands that I havent really been to or checked

For me, I loved the first game a bunch Except the driving stuff But once I got use to it, it wasnt so bad

The second one was more of the first, but with a different character. And a crew, which I thought was cool A little different, but not too bad And both the first and second game had a specific main character

The third game was pretty different, though You created a character rather than just playing as one. They also had an even bigger team. Like in the game, you were basically a loner, but had a small crew in the second game. The third was about building an army. Of very unique hackers. Pretty much most characters had a skill set. And you could higher most of them It was bad, and might have been pretty good. But I never really got too far due to having to stop for whatever reasons. I may go back, though

Light puzzle tk get a shrine, but you could also get a Sages Will Did you get that one? And I also got one for beating the Sky King Gleeok Others I just found around so far

Why are people so reluctant to admit it could have been a Shark? We proved in this topic that sharks swarm cruise ships. There would be a ton of sharks in that water. So why is it so far fetched that one or more swam to him to investigate?

I dont think people are to reluctant to say it could have been a shark. Because it very well could have been But it is ridiculous to say it was clearly a shark when nothing is clear at all They are acting like they absolutely proved it was a shark with grainy footage just because they slowed it down At least, thats what I think Which makes sense You cant really make out anything for sure jn the video

While I wouldn't use the word "clearly" given the quality of the video, based off what I do see and his response it does overwhelmingly seem like a shark scared him away from the buoy and likely attacked him, even if they didn't eat him.

This is my biggest thing I never said it wasnt a shark. But I also think its weird people are saying clearly Its a grainy phone video taken at night, while the person filming cant seem to keep the camera focused on one thing for more than a few second Nothing was clear about it Even slowing it down doesnt make it clear Just makes a slower grain phone video taken at night

I also don't think it really matters how low the stats of an attack/death by shark are. They obviously happen to somebody and I don't think any victim of sharks had their final thoughts be, "statistically speaking this wasn't supposed to happen to meeeeee". Same thing when people try to point out how "statistically low it is for you to die in a mass shooting". Those stats bring no comfort or clarity in the end for the people who are unfortunate enough to make them.

It also feels pointless that so many people keep saying "sharks don't usually eat people, they don't like the way we taste" because that makes it sound like nobody is eaten by sharks, when we know that's just not true. Again, just because it has a low statistical probability doesn't mean it never happens, it could just be we're witnessing one of those rare cases. It's not like the sharks themselves are going to weigh in to confirm.

For me, I mentioned earlier that the chances were low (that he was eaten, at least) I never said 0, though Just low Which I still stand by, tbh

I don't know which would be the better end, I've drowned before but it was a very quick & painless process, not what he would have experienced here. The shark attack would be more violent, but also possibly quicker.

Probably depends If the shark took a bite, and then dipped, that would probably suck since youre now in incredible pain while you bleed out It depends on what happened after he left our view

Pends on the shark. Yeah, many sharks recognise moving ships as a food source, but white tips have been proven to recognise and seek out the sound of sinking ships. Sinking ships usually mean actual people to eat.

Sinking ships usually mean food (not just people) to eat, as well They will most likely still attack humans, though Even if they decide not to eat them Probably depends on the food around

I've yet to update mine. I got lucky, though. My system was in sleep mode for quite a while after the update was released, but the game session was still running. I was able to go in and turn off automatic updates in time because of that.

Even if they were randomized, I'd expect that each new shrine would be attached to whatever location you found it in. It would absolutely not work to find a shrine somewhere, go inside, play around with it for a bit and decide you want to put it off, go find a different shrine, and find the exact same contents inside the new one. That would just plain suck. I'd expect it to be more along the lines of you find a shrine outside, as you enter the RNG chooses its contents, then that shrine will have those contents for the rest of the playthrough.

Well, yeah. Obviously they chose not to do it this way. It's still an option to fix the issue of tutorials not being appropriately front-loaded, though, especially if they went with the less random option (just swapping a tutorial shrine with one you'd otherwise have found at that location whenever you reach a given tutorial interval).

What would be better is if they made like a small dungeon that gave all these tutorials And maybe gave you multiple Blessing I would have said make like a bunch of tutorial shrines, but they used those for the new powers, so

Actually, they could. The blessing shrines should be fixed for the sake of aligning them with instances where getting to the shrine is the real challenge, but there's generally nothing actually tying any one shrine to any one location (aside from a few that have location-appropriate decor). If they wanted, they could code it to have your 6th shrine be the sneaking tutorial, regardless of which one you entered. That could translate into all non-blessing shrines being randomized (aside from tutorials showing up at fixed points) and weighted so that there's a difficulty progression, or it could remain a matter of having all shrines be fixed in their locations aside from swapping the tutorial shrine with whichever one you enter at the appropriate intervals. They could also just dictate the exact order in which shrines show up, regardless of which location you enter, but that would make replays pretty miserable and I don't think that would be a good idea.

Tbf, maybe its just me, but quite a few of them had themes that fit where they were. The low gravity areas had low gravity shrines, and I think I got more sand shrine in the Gerudo desert That said, I dont think they wanted to randomize shrines Which is why I mentioned they couldnt. I should have said they wouldnt, though Plus, if youre having trouble with a shrine, most people will skip it. It would suck to be forced to play one until you beat it
