One carry on and a bag should fit anything you need.

Two Shiny Vaporeon in about 30 seconds.

Just like the first batch this one got an early shiny and then nothing else. And like the last batch I found two shinies while hatching(Drifloon, Murkrow). Found the Murkrow with the very last set of Eevee eggs in my party.

Got another Shiny Vee early in my second batch.

Shut the fuck up brain.

Also fuck you Gloom it took me like 10 hours and a break for a mainline Pokemon game but I defeated you at puzzles.

Okay I can definitely see shadows scrolling in with the rest of the world now. Though I don't think I notice any specific performance gain.

I hate how information propagates on the internet. Early posts were "Bring Azumarill to Charizard". It is almost all that comes up if you search google on how to beat the Charizard. Now everyone brings this dumb thing to the Charizard Tera raids and all they do is die. They either get stuck in an endless loop of heal cheer til death or cast rain dance and get murdered by hurricane.

newegg still puts out some of the cheapest prices.

With GPU market no longer insane it is again cost-efficient to build you own PC.

Newegg customer service is shit but there aren't a lot of alternatives regardless.

I see commercials for this pretty regularly on tv. I guess that's where they put their marketing budget because I saw more commercials for this than Black Panther.

Did not know thr main character is gay though, that might actually get us to go see it (my wife isn't typically into Sci fi so we weren't planning to).

Disney has an onslaught of marketing at their disposal that they typically pull out through their releases(Including an entire television network). They pulled out...none of the stops. It got a token commercial on TV and pretty much nothing else.

Yeah Disney pretty much intentionally made this movie flop. They had several opportunities to market it throughout the year(Including their major D23 event among them) and took none of them. Quiet release with as little marketing as possible. I didn't even know it was out til after it hit theaters.

Yes. Evolution counts as +1 shiny encounter.

Well I thought I had 150 Eevee eggs but apparently I bred more Eevees than I thought. I had 7 boxes of eggs.

Unfortunately that 1 in 7 didn't pan out over the bunch. It ended up 1 in 210ish.

Well I have an annoying bug. All my raids disappeared from the map. Even the Eevee raids. Complete blank map when I turned on the game today.

Yeah that was pretty much my day.

The most interesting thing I did otherwise was pay bills.

This was like 2020 thanksgiving but surprise and 10 times more awful.

I should have gone with my plan and just gone to Disneyland.

Well I'd normally be spending my Thanksgiving playing Smash and Mario Party with the few family members I like while the rest sat in a room watching football or something. Instead it is just a boring day at home and it kind of sucks.

But also Thanksgiving is cancelled as family members visited an extended family member a few days ago and that visited family member ended up having COVID.

So my Thanksgiving is at home, and all this happened too late to really prepare anything. So not much of anything here, and especially no turkey to test and possibly complain about.

Kind of sucks and stuff.

Why are polls in the US so bad? Like, polls miss occasionally in other countries (famous example being the UK in 2015 though even that was only 3%) but 95% of the time theyre accurate. In the US it seems like everybody expects an error its just a matter of which way it goes.

The great irony is that the example everybody cites is 2016, where polls were actually bang on at a national level and only off in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania at a state level which didnt actually matter as Trump still would have won either way. People were just unreasonably confident relative to the data.

Americans think Democracy is bad and that pollsters/media are out to get them.

If FE2 can get a remake, FE5 can get a remake. But, an FE5 remake would probably get rid of a lot of things that make FE5 what it is.

FE5 really transitions from FE4 to what on the outside look like much more modern day FE Maps. The size of the maps is very much what you'd expect out of an FE game today. So yeah, I see it.

Nah. It has an effect. Not a gigantic effect, unless you have a big twitter following, but people on the sidelines do look at these things. Conservatives won't be convinced - flaky independents can. Saying otherwise is just doomerism to downplay someone here actually putting in effort.

Oh I don't mean to disparage trying. If I had my way, there'd be a lot more people willing to fight through the bots. Hell you guys know I'm a fan of pointless arguing and twitters a prime place for shoving your opinion in peoples faces.

But to try to look at it on a macro level...Twitter is mostly just full of depression. Most of the spaces with even a little bit of reach are a cesspool of bots and paid trolls, and rarely ever on the side of anything remotely good. For every FD tweet that gets a ton of hits these days you just get more and more fake bot echo chambers.

Been at max twitter depression recently, have no real local election thingies of interest so been kind of passively looking at the reginoal adjacent race for LA mayor(I don't live in LA proper, so I don't get a vote, but I do work in LA). We basically have a Republican billionaire running as a democrat. Standard crime/homelessness fear porn all over the TV and such in a deep blue area. Needless to say, in a fairly deep blue area like LA, he shouldn't have much chance. But with the kind of money he can throw around...you click any local tweet about the election and you are inundated with paid trolls for a very localized election. to the average idiot they are all going to look real, just an instant fake echo chamber. The whole system and how its been basically weaponized for instant propaganda just kind of scares and depresses the hell out of me.

And its hard to blame the average person for not caring enough to counter them because you know most of the people on the other side are being paid to do it.
