I believe my list is:

San Diego Chargers
Florida Marlins
Cleveland Indians

Uh, St. Louis Rams count I guess. Though I don't remember the last time I saw them live (maybe once as a kid). The owner purposefully made sure that the team sucked so our city wouldn't care if they left.

I could've sword we also had a soccer team at one point, my dad took me to one of their games a long time ago. But I can not at all remember the name of the team and google isn't helping so maybe it was a delusion.

New Orleans Zephyrs, minor league baseball team. Didn't see them after they rebranded to become the New Orleans Baby Cakes, but regardless they're apparently in Wichita, Kansas now.

The list of professional teams I've seen live, still existing or otherwise, is incredibly short. A few baseball games, and that might be it. If I can include college, the list gets longer, but not by much.

Doesn't happen as much in the UK but Chester FC went out of business and had to restart at a lower division. So the new Chester is technically a different entity. Saw them a few times before they went under.

Interesting, I didn't think about teams that changed their geographical name without moving. That would add the Angels of Anaheim and Coyotes to my list as well (I also usually forget they aren't the Phoenix Coyotes anymore. Arizona Coyotes sounds so weird still)

But I'd say the Houston Oilers and Montreal Expos certainly count, even though both teams just changed their name AND location and still embrace their history. The Washington Commies don't count since they didn't move, just rebranded twice. And people there still call them by their old name because "Commies" is just... come on.

Basically, it counts if the league or team folded or if the team changed both its location and its name.

Oh, and to answer the question, I don't believe I have. I attend minimal pro sports since I have easier access to college sports that are just as entertaining for a lower price.
