I ended up kiting everything all the way back to the bottom right of the map.

Never played FE5, and I think I know less about it after reading this topic's playthrough snippets than I did before.

Honestly the game feels like something someone feeling vindictive would romhack into existence. It doesn't have the level of polish of any FE game I've played so far(And Fates was pretty bad, though I think if I sat down and played Thracia it'd probably rank higher in the end)

I mean, the only one not coming close to my top 15 overall Pokemon is Flareon.

Fair warning Thracia has a lot of dumb "visit X with Y character or else don't get the proper reward" stuff going on all over it. I didn't get particularly deep in the game before putting it on the backburner in frustration but the game is basically a huge dick to you at every turn and the difficulty gets turned up even higher by not doing things that you had very little hint you even had to do. Just hiding borderline necessary weapons in houses that you cant get if you visit with the wrong character.

The first fog map you run into was the most hellish experience I've had in a Fire Emblem game and I've been plowing through a good bit of the series recently. I imagine it gets worse.

Upon checking, I've only managed 6 chapters in this game. The amount of frustration was more than the entire rest of the series I've played combined to me.

The Switch has slightly increased latency from the controller if you play it via USB, so I stopped.

You think FE incest is a joke and then you hit Fates with Corrin inviting everyone and their kids and siblings into the tent.

(Fates is weird, and mostly bad)

Last map was the only map I set up a completely unwinnable state and had to start from scratch.

That was a fun one. I remember taking a deep breath, grouping everyone up, then being like "okay time to go".

It just occurred to me that Ben tried pulling this crap of completely misinterpreting one of my posts back in Simple Mafia and trying to accuse me of contradicting myself. It brushed me the wrong way at the time, but I didn't do anything about it because I thought it was a genuine mistake. And then he ended up flipping scum to my surprise.

Now, I'm getting deja vu from Ben's attempt to make me look bad this game. Feels very much like a repeat tactic from Simple Mafia, but unlike back then, I'm not letting you go that easily this time around!

J&D has Jak 1 as excellent, Jak 3 as good and Jak 2 as nonsense garbage.

Surprised to see love for Jak 1. It wasn't bad but it also didn't really do anything that other collectathon platformers didn't do much better.

Thought the games were a lot better in 2 and 3 even if the style change was a bit weird.
