No, bro. I'm not a trained firefighter. I don't have an axe to defeat doors or obstacles. I don't have oxygen. I could very well die, or pass out from smoke inhalation and then the firefighters might rescue me and not the person. It would be different if it was my ex-girlfriend. I'd run in and save her.

Cool idea but it wouldn't be very practical as it's just a huge sign pointing at you--like, if you're hiding, you probably want to appear just like everything else around you and not a massively strong gravitational anomaly.

But you also wouldn't want an alien mothership to crash into your undetectable planet.
