In most sports, getting a point is a big exciting deal. In professional basketball, its expected that the team carrying the ball will get it in the basket and each individual basket can matter so little. Because of this it turns into a game of 90% nothing, with some mild excitement (not when your team gets a point but when the opposing team misses), and mild disappointment (when your team misses) sprinkled in.

As stated, if its a close game, the last few minutes can still be exciting, but in that case just make the whole game 10 minutes long. Ill admit people like sports for different reasons and Im aware Im in the minority for disliking basketball but I just dont see the draw. To each their own though.

I always assumed that they put in the Gambit system because they realized that the combat system was so mind-numbingly boring that people would want the game to play itself for long stretches.

Also, the storys one of the primary motivators pushing you through most FF games, and in XII it is absolute ass.

For these reasons and more, I hate it. When it first came out I pre-ordered (ie. overpaid for) it with the guide, really tried to like it but stopped when I got 95% of the way through and realized I didnt care about the last boss or any of the characters getting resolutions to their stories (most of them didnt have any (hell, most of them barely had stories) or any of the extra hunts or getting the last couple bonus summons (oh joy, all the summons are terrible too). I just wasnt having fun with any of it.

No, I didnt get ZA. No, I dont want to. It has never been okay to release a shitty game at launch and then DLC it into a legitimate one later but it was especially not okay to do that during the era of physical releases and charge full-price for both. Either way, Im not buying another version of a game I hated.

A lot of the time if the game decides you arent close enough to the water it wont count froggy as reeled in. Thats why its usually easier to use the belt upgrade when you can (fuck the ice level).

That said, Bigs story sucks because its boring and waaaaaaaay too easy. Pull in Froggy a few times and cast once or twice on the final boss. The end.

Makes it feel like a waste of time and especially makes the extra emblems feel tedious.

SA2 is the same kind of jank as EDF. You can tell it isnt a good game but its still a fun game.

Im gonna be real. Pat Sajak has always seemed like one of the more dickish Game Show hosts to me.

Hes in a similar barely holding back his disdain category as Bob Barker (compared to people like Alex Trebek, Drew Carey, and pretty much any of the Family Feud hosts who seem to love (loved, in Trebeks case) what they do), but Sajak has always felt far more snippy and outwardly fake than Barker ever did.

As usual, Bill Maher produces word salad to obfuscate the fact that hes only discussing issues at surface level and that hes completely missing the underlying point.
