The main differences between the two are how the battles actually use your character's stats/gear in 3 while in 2 it was just a bunch of random rolls for a while before the plot decided that you auto-won or lost.I coulda swore they had actual little dudes on the field that made it look like a battle was going on and not just regular fighting like any other fight in 3 But I ain't played it that far since it was out --- Common sense says it may not taste good, but it'll make a turd. |

Regular encounters actually damage you tho, and I like that I feel like I have yet to really get anywhere. Done hugo 1-2, Thomas 1 and geddoe 1 and it just feels like I haven't gotten anywhere. I haven't done any big battles either It doesn't explain a God damn thing and it can be confusing figuring out how shit works. And it BARELY tells you where you should be going. Sometimes you just have to run around random places till something happens And the map... Give me an arrow saying which way I came from ffs. Sometimes the map reverses itself. Like you'll head from west to east. Then the next map is you heading east to west. Wtf I still like it but it's got issues.
