I got an ending in ender lilies but I feel like there's still a lot of game left

I honestly think I just have poor compatibility with lore-based style of storytelling since I had basically no idea that action would lead to an ending and I still don't really understand why

I will say though I basically never see nutritional information other than calorie count listed anywhere. I suspect you coulld probably ask about it if you really had to?

the way ender lilies uses switches to create shortcuts in rooms and essentially create "checkpoints" without needing it to be a bench every time is very cool. but I think they didn't realize just how far through walls some of your attacks hit and put switches too close, I keep opening shortcuts from the wrong end and skipping big sections of rooms

personally I don't usually pay attention to calorie counts of anything, restaurant or not. but if I'm out somewhere to eat and I'm feeling extra hungry for whatever reason, like if I sipped breakfast or something, I'll aim for something with a higher calorie count under the assumption that it's probably more food. which feels like not the intended way to use that menu information

A common feature at larger restaurants here, though smaller places (I'm tempted to call them "indie" lol) usually don't have it

I think it's hard for this to happen when games focus a lot on super high quality aesthetics. if it takes a ton of time and effort to get nice looking models, do all the various animations, have tons of voice lines or whatever, you don't want to "waste" all that effort by making a very short game. so your options are basicaly either a long game or a ton of sequels

I'm also playing ender lilies. reminds me more or less of hollow knight except better in basically all ways

blasphemy blasts through act2 pretty well too even without runic pyramid. it's definitely a very powerful card but imo it's not as good as it first makes you think because honestlly watcher is strong enough to not really need it a lot of the time for act1/2 and then it's sorta ddissappointing in lategame

As more and more physical games start essentially requiring some sort of online just to play properly (most obvious example being downloading patches for stuff) I'm not sure the distinction is really that important anymore. or in cases like this

like, just think about it a bit. I can totally understand the desire to not have to rely on these online services to play your games. and I don't think that^ sort of situation should be happening. but it is happening, and the more it happens the worse that particular argument for physical games gets. I think some people are not really following the reality of what's going on with gaming

basically yeah, keep deck small and have a few ways to swap rage/calm and you're set. here's some of my last few watcher decks (from a while ago but I haven't really played since)

if you want to go for the heart as well you'll need mental fortress or talk to the hand to provide block otherwise you'll die to its passive damage. they're also pretty helpful for time eater because he blocks the actual infinite

this is kinda interesting to read since the defect probably scales the best in very prolonged fights out of all characters (because you can scale both focus and orb slots), while struggling the most in shorter fights due to the ramp up time. just grab some focus sources and a way to add a few more orb slots and you're set

my advice for watcher is that dead enemies deal no damage

your starting deck has significantlly more power in it than any other class. use this advantage to take many early elite fights without having to pad your deck with as much frontloaded damage as the other classes, as those cards weaken you in the lategame. and then use the better cards and relics you get from these extra elites to snowball through the rest of the game.

alternatively, if you make a small deck with a rushdown in it, it's very easy to go infinite with watcher. the character is without a doubt broken and does not really belong in the same game as the other characters

I can handle japanese character names since I forget the names of a lot of the characters anyway

but the one thing I absolutely cannot handle is japanese pokemon names

I like to at least make enough to have for lunch once on a later day

irys's were something about the design not being up to standard iirc

anyway it's not that gen6 is fast it's that the nonJP gens are slow. which really shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to anyone

japan does have a bit of a history of rather extreme cyberbullying but I can't imagine this is the best way to deal with it

thanks to the power of the internet I have way more friends outside my timezone than I do in my timezone.

I like thinly slicing steaks and using them for stirfrys or fajitas or whatever though

I chewed on pencils all the time, it has absolutelly nothing to do with the pencil. if there's no pencil I'll chew on pens. or on elastics. or bite my fingernails. or maybe even just my fingerss. I had plastic cups as a kid growing up and would always chew on them at the table. I've broken tons of thinigs by chewing on them: clips for bags, pens (this one tasted awful), toys, etc etc. it's not even really something I do intentionally and though I've managed to really cut down on it as I grew up I still often find myself just chewing random things without realizing.

if there is something at my desk or whatever that is the right size/substance to be chewable it's basically guaranteed to eventually be destroyed by chewing so I mostly try to avoid getting in this situation in the first place

I don't think there's any way it could be more aggressive about it than diablo immortal. besides that's not really how vtuber stuff works anyway, they just sell a few normal things but at very high prices and crazy fans buy 20 copies of them. they don't need all the weird trickery

time loop is very cool, multiverse is basically just whatever

when you think about it, time loops are really just the final form of foreshadowing, which is already usually nice to have. multiverses on the other han I just don't feel like there's really significant tie-in to anything at all most of the time

I played a chrono trigger romhack that changed nothing except increasing the difficulty and ultimately did not like it that much

turns out the battle system is not interesting/complex enough to really support harder fights

mansion is sort of interesting but if you ever go back and play it, it feels agonizingly slow and awkward

I tried it again afterward on a language I'm still learning, got approximately 50% which it said is the eqquivalent vocab level of a 10 year old native speaker

Made me feel like a lot of people must be taking it on second (or third, or fourth...) languages they don't know super well because there's no way I know more words than 50% of people. Also, their text descriptions of the levels sound sorta wack because there's no way a 10 year old should be at tthe 50% mark

in general I would consider biking on the sidewalk a bad idea. there is not really space there for pedestrians and bikes at the same time

getting off your bike and going up onto the sidewalk is sometimes a good way to safely cross large intersections though
