To elaborate a little, it feels like there are a lot of places where some cool path/platforming was intendeed but as a player you end up just hovering over the entire thing. I think the biggest example of this is probably ricco harbour shine1, where you can go through the obstacle course of climbing and poles and platforms and etc that snakes through the water (and doesn't realy exist in other shines so you know it's meant for this), or you can just walljump hover from the low platform to the high platform and avoid all of it. the momentum is a lot of fun, and playing sunshine without the hover gave me some new appreciation for the level design, but together I think they're a sorta weird clash --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!!
