S1 is mostly fine, but even it has some really dumb decisions that hint that the writers don't know what they're doing.

S2 starts relatively strong, but it's just complete dogshit in the second half. I didn't bother watching S3.

I will say that this line isn't all that bad in context.

It has pretty much everything going for it. The actors do a good job, the effects are up to snuff, the costumes are pretty good despite Starfire's S1 look.

And it's all ruined by the writers being absolutely fucking garbage at their jobs.

Does Twin Peaks have a satisfying conclusion? Even if it could be controversial, a deliberate conclusion is what I'm asking about, as opposed to an "oops we got canceled". From what I hear about how surreal this show is a strange ending isn't necessarily bad. If that was an intended ending.

For twenty-five years, no. The Return gave it a conclusion, but it's definitely a fucking surreal one.

One of the weirder porn comics I've seen involved Beast Boy banging Raven through a magic book. The book had a portal in it, so he banged her from across a classroom while she was fully clothed. That one's not that weird, but later on Raven gets into an argument with Jinx and she does a similar spell where she moves the portal to her genitals and she bangs Jinx with her boyfriend's dick which was truly something else.

My only disappointment is that I had a theory that Diane didn't actually exist and it's just what Cooper called his tape recorder, so I was a little sad when it turned out she was a real person.

Make it really dark and even more gory. Add in some more files and back story about shady events in the mansions past. (One really cool thing i always wanted was a name and back story for every zombie you encounter. What was their role in the mansion, when did they die?).

I'm imagining Return of the Obra Dinn in a zombie-filled lab and I don't hate it.

I'd say it didn't age well, but I'm not really sure what that means. If your game didn't "age" well, I'd say that means it probably wasn't all that great to begin with.

It means it was excellent given the constraints of the time, but certain aspects don't work very well if you're used to more modern titles. Fallout 1 and Fallout 2, for instance, are excellent games, but their controls are absolute garbage.

I only saw the first season of Ozark, but I don't think it's all that similar to Breaking Bad beyond the surface level.

I think the biggest difference being that he didn't try to hide it. The first time it really differentiated itself from Breaking Bad is when the kids are demanding to know why they've suddenly uprooted their entire lives and the mom just bluntly tells them that he's laundering money for a drug cartel.

It's a badass monologue on its own, but in context the entire point of the "I am the one who knocks" scene is that he's an egotistical idiot. He is very much in danger. His family is very much in danger. He has little-to-no control over the situation he's put himself in and ultimately he only gets out of it through desperation and blind luck.

The whole heart and soul of the novel is the idea that Jake's got five years to kill in the past before he can carry out his mission, and King basically just goes "okay, let's see what he gets up to." The Kennedy stuff is the draw of the novel, and it's the plot of the novel, but it's not the point - it's more of a slice of life character piece than a time travel adventure.

Tbh, I think I'd argue it's the closest he's written to a romance novel.

I can list a few about Control my life:

1. Every plate of mine was weighed on the scales and I had to eat only the calories to have a healthy diet (always had a normal weight) so I wouldn't become like my aunt (who is overweight). This developed into several eating problems that I still struggle with.
2. Until the age of 21, they sat down every month to discuss every expense and why.
3. I had to weigh myself at least once a week and they had a schedule with all my weights. If I had gained weight, the diet would be more restricted
4. My grades never went above A/A+, it only happened once and I didn't leave the house until the next course test (in the other month).

Just a few facts from my childhood/teenage/young adult. When I say controllers, that's it.

For me, absolutely not. I didn't even bother finishing it. The killer for me is that to expedite the plot, they cut out a lot of the things that the protagonist does to go under the radar and keep himself out of trouble. The consequence is that Franco's version of the character just looks like a moron.

Dreamcatcher is about aliens crash landing in the woods in Maine (who'd have guessed?), so you might be mixing up three books lol.
