Impcantations and Transonic Bird are great ritual support to use alongside Shinobirds, which is what the deck I linked to recommends. The only spirit monster you really need besides the Shinobirds themselves is Amano-Iwato, because it shuts a lot of other decks down and doesn't return to the hand if it's special summoned by one of the Shinobird ritual monsters. None of that stuff is UR either, so the deck is super cheap to make.

Thanks for the help! I added Transonic bird into the deck and removed some too hard to pull of cards. Im actually winning a good amount of duels in ranked. Also threw in some generic XYZs. I wish you could enter the event to test decks, even if you dont get anything until the event starts.

I considered Danger Kaiju too, but Danger anything won't really work in this event because they put Danger Bigfoot on the event banlist to make it harder for people to cheese OTKs with Draglubion into Numeron Dragon and other rank 8 plays. So that's out the window. Shinobirds can be a fun event deck if you refine it a bit. They're another one of those decks that doesn't use the extra deck but isn't good/common enough to get hit by the event banlist, so you can use them in pretty much any event.

If you already have a lot of staples/handtraps, you could also build Zoodiacs like we were talking about on the previous page of this topic.

I did end up rebuilding my Shinobird spirit deck from the ground up. I brought it into ranked and its holding its own! Here is the decklist so far. Tweaking it every duel. Let me know if you have any recommendations! I will look at that link too!

So whats a fun deck that I could use for this event? Anyone have archetype recommendations? The only decks I have that could work are my half-assed Blackwing deck, my half-assed Shinobird deck, or my Danger/Kaiju deck but I think I need to make a new deck.

Are gustos, Mist Valleys, or raidraptors worth making? My problem is I hate combo decks that just special summon a million times.

Halq is banned! This is absolutely amazing news. Isnt this a huge hit to Auroradon too? Water Enchantress to 1 is awesome too. You love to see it

Are those games worth getting? I had no idea they made so many of them. I played one of the at a friends house as a kid but never owned one.

IIRC, Gordon has only ever walked out of two places on all of his American shows (not sure about UK but I dont recall ever seeing anything of the sort)

I like a bunch of indie and third developer games, just none in this direct seem interesting. The detective game sounds promising but I cannot get over that art style so Im gonna pass.

Some 64 ports announced are cool, but in terms of new games shown, just Pikmin, Kirby (which is a remake anyway), and Zelda were hype.

I know Im late to the party but I finally got a chance to watch it and wow. That was the worst direct I have ever seen.
These are the only exciting things announced.
-Pikmin but they didnt show shit so that barely counts.
-Kirby Return to Dreamland sounds awesome. Im in.
-Zelda obviously. BotW is the best Zelda game ever made imo so thats a day one buy.

Everything else sucked.

Also I realized maybe my biggest weakness in a duel, sometimes I wait too long to screw over the other dude. Went well tonight but sometimes it doesnt.

Had the guy basically completely dead, all he had was two monsters that were no threat. I could have solemned one of them but I wanted to see where he was going. Goes into Halq which I could have gotten rid of but Im likenah lets see what he building towards.

Finally gets to Auroradon and finally Im likesolemn strike.

He rages. Felt good lol. But sometimes I wait too long. I just like leading them on until they get to the end of their combo, then just ruining it. Bare minimum at least it gets those cards in the GY and out of play.

Also I feel like the title of this thread is a direct reference to me because of how I play

Nurture by Porter Robinson was the last album I listened from from to back without skipping a second. Absolutely beautiful electronic album. I do think he could have cut a few tracks out since every song largely has the same vibe, but it still an incredible listen.

I need to go back and finish Worlds, his original album. There are some bangers on there. I need to get better at listening to albums. I tend to sample a few songs from an album without giving the rest of the songs on it a fair shake.

It had about 1 min collectively of funny scenes.

The only parts that were funny (Spoilers if you care, no one will care)

• the chick attempted to jump in a swimming pool from a roof and overshot by like 10 feet. She was nowhere near the pool. That was great.
• A kid actually gives a good performance in his talent show rehearsal by singing. Hart just goes Wow! Linusthat was shit.
• The fact that the Uber driver becomes a main character was kinda funny

TLDW: Man is pulled over, super nervous, kinda lies to the cop, and is found with some super shady items in his car, including knives, bloody rags, a mask, gloves, a pellet gun, extra ammo, alcohol prep pads, a special edition culinary spoon, etc.

also I have perfected that technicality I talked about before on Imperm to bait people out of cards. It works so well.

-Gravekeepers Heretic is unaffected by ALL card effects when Necrovalley is out.
-Imperm, when set, makes you negate a monster THEN negate all other cards in its column.
-Because it cant negate Heretic since it is unaffected, the second column effect cannot go through since it HAS to negate a monster card before the column effect.

Just won me a duel after I purposely put my spell card in the same column as his Imperm to bait him out. People fall for it every time and its never not funny since it looks like Im purposely playing dumb. Its very easy to tell when people have Imperm too so its prefect.

Dude is a total liar so there is a chance thats a lie too.

One kid in my friends school stole chalk from the teacher, brought a knife and a dollar, cut up the chalk into a line of powder and snorted it through the dollar like a line of coke at his desk during class. Apparently he did not react to it well and had to go to the nurse.

How did u do it?

Opened with Niburu, Ash, and Evenly Matched. Just disrupted as much as I could on his turn, Nibirued him. Then evenly matched on my turn.

Threw down the Necrovalley to lock him out of the Graveyard, took out what he had on the board, and by that point I had him in a chokehold and couldnt play anything haha.

It's short, has next to no filler, and the graphics and dialogue is just enjoyable to experience. It was my first RPG and I still love replaying it at least once a year. It never gets old to me >_>

Huh, maybe I'm misunderstanding the precise problem, but why not just use Moon Mirror Shield for those situations? Unless they're something that can't be destroyed by battle, that should allow you to get over high defense monsters, since it makes your Attack/Defense equal to their Attack or Defense +100, whichever is higher.

I did have MMS in the first iterations of my deck. I just kept drawing it when I didnt need it and it annoyed me so I took it out lol. Thats another option tho

Under Gozen Match, you would only be allowed to link off Boarder into a Light monster, but I'm pretty sure there's no link-1 Light monster that could be made with Boarder either. Droplet is probably the best option for you in this situation. Another option could be to Book Of Moon the Boarder face-down to do your combos, but then you couldn't flip it back face-up afterwards if you have a non-Light monster and Gozen Match is still on the field.

I lost because of BS. Could someone help me find a card that works for this? My searching has yielded no results.

I could have won the duel, but I had Inspector Boarder out and Gozen Match active. I locked myself out of fishing Necrovalley back out and fusion summoning a big monster to hit for the win. The dude pulled a 2000 DEF monster out his ass and I couldnt finish him off since Boarder couldnt beat over it. I need a card that works in the scenario that if Boarder and Gozen are out, I can get rid of Boarder so I can make other plays. I thought there may be a generic 1-card DARK link I could go into but theres not which sucks. I need a card that can get Boarder off the field in a pinch :/ I think Forbidden Droplet is the front runner right now unless I find something else that works. But obviously I would rather have something in the Extra Deck I can use at any time.

I just played a Eldlich player and I had Prohibition on turn one. Completely took Eldich out of the equation but he still managed to stall for a long time. Went about 18 turns but I finally took the W in the end haha.

Needless to say Eldlich decks cannot do much if you incapacitate all three of them.

Did they up the probability of Royal/Prismatic Finish cards? I have been on fire with them and packed 4 of them the past couple days after only packing 3 since playing this game day one. One of them was a Gravekeepers Card!!!!!!

Because I am a total madman and my Gravekeeps are my favorite deck to use, I am trying to get a completely rare or royal finish deck. Every card at least has a cool finish to it. Or at least all the gravekeeper cards lol

I dont watch Marvel stuff but watched this just because my friends were there and they wanted to watch so I did too. It was one of the worst first episodes to anything ever.

My problems
-Where did the UFO go after causing the car to crash? No explanation at all. It just caused a crash and then poof its gone.
-Why did those women at the bar bring extra clothing and heels for she-hulk? Who goes to the bar with extra clothing that they would be totally cool just giving to a complete stranger?
-The 4th wall breaking is so forced and does not add anything.
-Apparently this chick can control when she hulks out, Hulk sees this and instead of freaking out and being impressed or shocked hes just like Huh, cool. You would think he would emote at all but nope.
-Hulk goes from not letting her leave because he wants to train her, to bring like Okay you can leave I respect your opinion in like 2 seconds. The pacing is blistering.
-This lead is so antagonistic. Why is she so insulting to the hulk? Also, I cant stand character that just makes wise cracks all the time. Shes supposed to be going through a super troubling time but its like its just another day at the park for her.
-Who the fuck is the random woman that just Kool-Aid Mans through the courthouse wall? No mention of who she is at all. I thought it was one of those women from the bar come to get her heels back.
-Hulk says hulks cant get drunk, meanwhile she acts drunk and Hulk for some reason was like wtf your not drunk? Like bro, you literally explained that she cant get drunk, how are you fooled.
-Ending scene was cringe.
-Belching scenes.
-CGI on She-Hulk is atrocious.

I wasnt gonna watch the show anyway but man, it was rough. Maybe I am ovethinking these things but thats just what was going through my head when I was watching
