Happens all the time. My friend from HS was on her 3rd engagement with her 3rd boyfriend by sophomore year in college before finally going through with it. But she was super Christian and abstained from sex until marriage and immediately dropped out of school and popping out babies after getting married so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it

Just like there are cleat chasers for pro athletes the same applies to celebrities. I remember reading an article about an NBA player talking about the phenomenon before, I forgot who it was though but they said especially around all star weekend there'd be girls around with the sole purpose of trying to get a player to knock them up. They know he has money so if they have a kid with him they know at worst they'll be getting checks from him and their kid will also have famous people genes so maybe they'll grow up to be something special too.

No, my alarm didn't wake me up, so I hate to skip my shower and morning routine so I could barely make it to work on time. Get to work and the coffee machine is busted and a couple of clients are frustrating to deal with today.

1st world problems at all but it's still been an annoying day where it's not as bad as it could be but still nothing seems to go smoothly or the way it should. Ready to get home and just chill.

The same way people read any other books? One page at a time and you'll get there. You can start from chapter one and catch up in less than a month if you tried. Even if you don't spend that much time, you'd be surprised at how far you can get in a pretty short amount of time. The chapters aren't very long and unless it's a series of particularly detailed and dialogue heavy panels it doesn't take long to flip the page.

If you can read what we have of ASOIAF you can catch up with One Piece in probably the same amount of time tbh

With Game Grumps, I feel like the commentary is more the appeal than watching them play the game. Especially if Dan is retelling a story from his past, he has a lot of good stories and tells them well. At this point I think we can all just admit Arin sucks at gaming in general so I never really expect him to play well

I watched a LP of FFVIIR because I didn't have a PS4 but I was curious how it turned out. It's good for things like that, at least to me. Sometimes I wish I could experience games I like for the first time again so the next best thing is watching a LPer play it for the first time (or at least put on airs as if it is, not sure I believe some of them when they say it's a blind playthrough) but then inevitably it gets frustrating seeing them not pick up on something that's way obvious to you lol
