Yeah I agree, and considering how easy the other bosses are with some practice, it's nice to get a harder boss in the DLC!

Tempo is really really fun. I haven't beat all zones with him yet but I've made it to Zone 5. The blood dagger gives him really great options, and it feels like you're playing on the edge of your seat the entire time. Picking up an Axe or Cat with him is insane.

Mary seems way tougher, but I'm not sure how much of that is me needing to retrain my brain. It becomes second nature to just walk up to barrels or wall secrets and lay a bomb, only to remember that your lamb dies to the bomb. I instinctively threw my spear on Coral Riff, and then blew up the lamb. whoops. Bomb helmet and Bomb charm do make the lamb invincible though!

Frankensteinway seems pretty tough on a low build. He takes a lot of hits, and he spawns a fair number of enemies in the second phase of the fight. I'll be really interested to see if people come up with quick kills like they did for Dead Ringer, but right now that doesn't seem likely.

Secret Boss is harder than Necrodancer, but still not that tough. You definitely have to take some time clearing away enemies, but it's really not that hard. Even on a low build I think he's easier than Frankensteinway

RW either Wall or a Party Heal, whichever you don't bring in your White Mage. I like to bring a white mage BSB so that frees up both Vaan and Ramza to bring Mako Might/DMT, and RW Wall.

For Vaan's flex slots I like to bring Mug Bloodlust (luxury skill) and Thief's Revenge, but it doesn't really matter, he can go the entire fight with just Ark Blast.

The other two flex member slots is really anybody that can do damage. TGCid with OSB, Kain with BSB and higher rank jump abilities, or even just bring Fran with her BSB. Whoever/Whoever/Ramza/Vaan/White Mage is my go to party, and I can clear the ultimates with no problem.

It's pretty dependent on your available SBs but

Protect/Shell
Full Break
Lifesiphon
Breakdowns

are ability staples

Haste
Wall
Party Boost
Party Heal

are things you generally want to have covered in your SBs. If you have all of those things you'll be covered for ultimates for sure. Maybe not Apoc fights depending on what you have, but Ultimates will be doable.

What SBs do you have access to?

My lead setup is

Nino (I put Desperation on, but it rarely comes up)
Seliph
Sharena
Olivia (Fortify Res Seal)

this sweeps the first 6 levels about half the time. This setup isn't ideal, but Nino can take care of most units, and some red units, and Sharena can take care of Ruby weapon users. If that team falls I just bring out whatever 5 star units I have that can clear the map. If I get to Veronica with 0-1 teams lost I can usually clear her, but my main goal is just getting those 336 points.

the IKYK performance was really all over the place. Individually I liked the song, the dance and the look, but none of those components seemed to gel with the others. Open Up had a huge advantage in this regard since it was a really clear "concept", something that was was generally missing this year.

I played a lot with min min, seems like you'd want a character with some sort of mobility power. The heavier characters seemed much worse from the few games I played.

Min min's dragon also seemed worse than the other options in 1v1, can't really speak for other modes as I didn't happen to get into those matches that often.

I don't see why anybody should have a problem with crowds booing Reigns. Adults are supposed to not boo him because kids like him? That never made sense to me. There are tons of things that I liked as a kid that other people didn't, never bothered me.

But I do think there is a line and the crowd after WM shouting profanities, while hilarious from my view at home, is probably going too far.

Yeah basically. All they had to do was wait for a year until their Time-Warner contracts were up, and then they would've been golden. At the same time I understand how paying tons of money for WCW and their wrestlers and doing nothing for a year with them didn't make sense.

I think the Invasion angle gets more flak than it deserves. The real problem was they just didn't have good WCW guys. Yes, the fact that it devolved to McMahons fighting among one another is stupid, and the fact that Angle and Austin were two of the biggest stars on the Alliance side is dumb, but who were they supposed to replace them with? There's no wrestler they got from WCW with the same star power.

If they had a real WWF vs Alliance 5v5, who were the biggest 5 guys they could've had? DDP, RVD, Booker T, The Big Show..... I'm even struggling to come up with one more guy that could've realistically been in a match with The Rock, Austin, Angle, The Undertaker and Jericho.
