It's really addicting, though it loses its "depressing" impact when you start getting good at planning and scavenging so you have enough supplies to keep your people sheltered and fed. Once you get the herb garden built, it's pretty much an instant win.

I ended up screwing myself out of challenge first time round because I decided from the get go "I'm not going to steal and I am not going to kill anyone"

I didn't at the time know how the morality worked in the game but I knew outright I wasn't going to steal or kill.

What I didn't know was that if you never fight anyone you never get hurt (aside from raids) so bandages were pretty useless and I could always sell them for loads of good stuff.

As a result I managed to very comfortably keep everyone alive and was surprised when the game ended. With the exception of winter where everyone was hungry, it was pretty easy to keep on top of everything.

That said I haven't played the mode with children yet. Gonna do that later.

I played it for the first time earlier this year and it's great.

I highly reccomend it. But I can't find anyone else who has actually played it, so it feels super- underated.

The big reason why it bugs me is that for 8 years straight conservatives railed Obama hard for being too soft on Russia, for being willing to talk to Russia, for having diplomatic ties to Russia.

Including Trump.

The the second Trump is in power, he's doing all sorts of shady shit, defending Russia. And the conservatives now praise it and say how great it is that he's willing to talk to Russia and admit America sucks.

Can you imagine if Obama had defended Russia when he was president? People would want his head and Trump would be leading the charge.

Whatever your political views are, the hypocrisy is staggering.

I'm assuming most of you are old enough to have grow up with toys. Possibly several toys if you were not an only child and had handmedowns.

However I also assume you don't still play with them now between doing your taxes and going to work. So what happened to all those toys?

Best console ever tbqh. The library is massive and filled with quality games. so much so that I'm still finding great new games that I missed out on. In terms of graphics, I think games from that era are more than "good enough". I honestly wouldn't mind graphics regressing to that quality if it meant that we'd receive more great games. Any worse (e.g. PS1 era graphics) and I would take issue.

Funnily enough, before seeing this topic, I was just about to go back and replay Persona 3 FES (and maybe the Digital Devil Saga games too), after Persona 5 put me in the mood. As much as I've enjoyed P5, I have to say that I still prefer P3, storywise at least. I just wish FES contained controllable party members and the ability to choose inherited Persona abilities. I know P3P has the former, but it lacks other things I like, not to mention that I don't have a PSP.

I've still never played a Persona game

I haven't played Beyond and Evil yet either (although I own it)
