Serious talk, I've met two out-of-the-closet racists that both bullied the same black kid. I kid you not I was the only kid I knew of that thought (and said it out loud) that the bully was a piece of shit. I grew up in a Conservative area, so try and guess how many anti-gays I knew. I count... everyone I met in the first half of my life. I did know one racist white girl that openly hated whites, but I think me being her friend maybe opened her mind a little, or at least I hoped. Barbara can't take simple freaking orders from her boss, she has to go all emotional and whiny about Batman telling her not to do something. Then Batman bangs her and fires her. Then Batman goes and visits the Joker in prison, and he's A NAGGY WIFE. "Where are we in our relationship?" Did Batman actually fucking say that to The Joker? Why is Batman talking way more than The Joker? Every theme is forced, explained, hand-held and forced through the whole movie and nothing is left to interpretation. Then the biggest "fuck you" of the movie is that we don't see the aftermath of Batman brutally murdering The Joker. The only redeeming factor of the movie was how they showed the humanity in The Joker at the very end. Even Jim Gordan was crying like a baby before Joker even messed with his head! Basically Steven Universe came in and turned it into another shitty cartoon soap opera. --- |
