Masculine, Tropic Thunder(2008)
Feminine, Ghostbusters(2016) Almost mirroring each other. One is defining the modern-age male attitude for 2008, and the other in 2016 was marking the moments of the SJW/feminist era. Tropic Thunder was the biggest shit-show I had ever seen in a movie, and newer Ghostbusters is the 2016 version of that. Tropic Thunder had a lot of "toxic masculinity" that is abundant in a lot of American culture these days. Why would so many great actors get together to make this movie and have it be this way. ... Tropic Thunder is one of the best comedies of the 2000s. Ghostbusters is okay.
