Citizen kane
It was actually decently enjoyable, but I don't understand why it is considered one of the best movies.

It makes more sense when you understand the history behind it. Citizen Kane was a landmark in terms of film-making. It established (though not necessarily invented) a lot of the conventions used to this day.

It also had something to do about a rich man at the time that got away with murder using his wealth and influence. Which the wealthy man used to stop the movie from being successful when it first came out.

I'm not from Texas, I was just using the article as an example. My state has never really had a knife length limit, but people here kept trying to tell me that didn't mean I could carry a sword, which is basically a really long knife. I was using the article to disprove that claim.

That being said, for some reason or another, I've never seen a person carry a sword here. They probably just assume it's illegal or something.

It's because fucking guns. A much better weapon by any standard. Fucking weeb.

Already pointed out that I prefer European swords to Oriental swords.
Also guns are probably the lamest weapon class in existence, they take no skill to use at all, literally all you have to do is point and pull the trigger. They are the weapons of cowards and criminals.

There is an easy way to avoid getting change at all in this situation as I have described. And I don't understand what you mean by adding someone else's money to their tip.

As I said before, that situation does not always apply. If the bill was $13, and you only had a $20, is it okay to tell you that they are keeping the extra $7. What if the bill was $23, and you only had two $20s? How much money does it have to be for you to be allowed to get your change back?

What if the 7¢ wasn't part of the change. What if it was just on the porch? Is it okay for the driver to just take it. That is basically what he is doing. What if the money is in the house? Is there ever a point where taking 7¢ is not okay with you?

Yes, this, or just using part of the change as their tip. Either way, the tip is going to come after I get my change back.

It's great if I have just enough for the bill and tip, but if I don't, then pay -> change -> tip. Sometimes that's just how it's going to happen. The driver (or really, the company in this case) doesn't get to decide to keep all or part of the change.

I understand if they don't have enough small bills and change would be a significant amount but in this situation the change was $0.07 which imo is insignificant so I can't sympathize with a customer yelling at a delivery person for not having $0.07 on them. The customer could just refuse to pay at all and not get any pizza.

And I was proposing the $0.07 could be part of the deliverer's tip not in addition to it.

First, if a customer thinks the delivery person is making up some story in order to keep her money, then the customer is probably going to get angry. Honestly, I doubt the OP was entirely polite about not giving her the 7¢ because he doesn't understand why she wanted her own money. He doesn't even understand it now after it's been explained to him by multiple people.

Second, so let's say she planned on $5 tip. The delivery guy basically took 7¢. That means she wouldn't give him $5, but go get $4.93. Assuming she even has that specific amount, she shouldn't have to that exact amount because the driver doesn't have change. This is exactly what I was saying when I first replied to you. Yes, you would probably just give him the $5, but what you do is not what others have to do.

I guess we'll never went really went down. I just assumed tc was an average delivery person that isn't rude.

She doesn't have to give exactly $5 as tip. She could just give $4.07. I understand this wouldn't work unless she had enough one dollar bills.

I never suggested the delivery person should decide their tip. The customer can easily pay for the pizza and tip without exact change. There is no reason to require $0.07 of change unless the customer wants to give an obscure amount for tip. I suppose that should be allowed but if isn't possible then throwing some hissy fit is pretty ridiculous.

Maybe there's something in this story I'm not understanding. Why is 7 cents of change necessary for this transaction? Whenever I order the total is never a whole number. It's usually like 16.38. And tip is a few bucks so i give the deliverer 20 bucks.

It doesn't matter if it's a penny. Businesses don't get to require that the customer pay more than the actual price. Businesses don't get to tell people they don't get their change. The amount of change doesn't matter. It's the customer's money.

You don't think the delivery person should decide their tip, but it's okay to add on someone else's money to their tip? That is exactly what the OP expected to happen. In his case, he was following restaurant policy. The fault is with the restaurant for having such a policy.

Assuming the customer has exact change to begin with, they shouldn't have to go looking for it. The pizza guy also shouldn't have to wait because his boss has a stupid "no coins for change" policy.

Lets say the total was $16.07. She could just give $20 or some other amount greater than $16.07 that would include tip. Tip doesn't have to some whole number.

I never said it should. That's not even the issue I responded to. Perhaps that's what you originally meant, but that's not what you said.

Your new post doesn't work either anyway. A tip is decided by the customer, not by the pizza guy who doesn't have change.

I think there is a misunderstanding. I'm looking for the source of all these separate properties associating unicorns with lightning whether it is from a myth or another source.

I know what a kirin is.
It looks like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qilin
But Monster Hunter's Kirin looks like this:http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Kirin

The designer was definitely trying to make it resemble a unicorn rather than what typical chinese myths portray them as

The Ixion I'm referring to is this one: http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Ixion

I'm not talking about greek mythology

Kirin in Monster Hunter looks similar enough to a unicorn that I'm confident the designer intended it to look like a unicorn. And I'm wondering what the source of associating unicorns with lightning is so if it stems from a video game then I hope whoever knows the game can tell me.

The oldest game I know of that uses a lightning unicorn is FF10 in 2001
