All the job listings I've seen even for Data Center Engineer jobs like I have, only list Bachelors as a preferred requirement. --- |

The only PS1 games I really got were one-off titles like Arcade Party Pak (arcade port of Smash TV ftw) or established family-friendly franchises like Crash and Spyro. I have played the GBA games, which I understand are similarly rad as fuck. I didn't have a PS1 growing up(N64 owner) so when I got my PS2, I bought a lot of PS1 games cause they were cheap at the time. Think I had around 20. Got SotN from a friend for free. He let me borrow the Dukes of Hazzard and "some vampire game" he said. Little did I know it was SotN. He didn't like the game so he just let me keep it. Yet he wanted that garbage Dukes game back. >_> MrMallard posted... I want to play Xrd, but I dunno if I'll like the music or gameplay all that much compared to XX. Does Revelator at least have a story mode, or individual character endings like in Tekken? That might tip the scales in Xrd's favor. I think it does. I only have the original Xrd so idk what was added with Revelator. Not sure if it's as expansive as the Story mode in X2 or not. I remember that game blowing my mind back on the PS2. MrMallard posted... 've heard that Yakuza 3 (or 4) has a gallery mode with like gameplay movies or w/e that flesh out the plot of the previous Yakuza games. I hear Sega recently reprinted a bunch of PS2 copies of Yakuza 1 and/or 2, though - except they're like 80 dollars, and not even for a remaster or a more polished version of the game. Hmm. If that's the case, I might get a couple of them. My PS2 no longer reads discs so the reprint idea is out. Also side note on Okami, the tutorial is really long so bear with it. Not to spoil anything, in order to get all of the beads(which are secret collectables) you have to complete the bestiary. There is a missable beast or two you need to beat in one spot of the game. It's like 3/4ths of the way through the game. When you get to this place in time, you'll probably guess there's no way to get back to it after the fact. There is a point of no return in the game before the final boss but they make it very clear in red colored dialog. --- |

| BlazinBlue88 07/12/17 9:26:32 AM #27 | You've never played Castlevania SotN? That's generally considered one of the greatest games of all time. I second Okami. It's the best Zelda clone out there. Two drawbacks are that it's really easy(similar to Zelda) and the dialog tends to be drawn out and non skippable. It takes someone 3 paragraphs to tell you to go visit a village. Other than that, it's incredible. Guilty Gear is always a good choice for a fighting game fan. I've also been interested in the Yakuza series but scared to start with a sequel. Looks like what Shenmue was always suppose to be. For anyone else, how much story will be missed if someone starts with Yakuza 4 or 5? --- |
