Nothing will make you think it's a scam more than actually touring an insurance company's building. I toured Sentry Insurance's headquarters a couple of years ago because my younger cousin received a scholarship from them, and it was maddening. They had all sorts of personal theaters, top ranked golf courses, a campus for temporary housing, and restaurants all around.

Not to mention they said they had a $5 billion surplus. Meaning if they had to pay every single policy out at once, they'd still have $5 billion in cash left over.

And all that is because almost every state government passed a law saying you can't drive without it. If it was something people could forgo, the insurance companies would have to compete MUCH harder to get your dollar, which means cutting costs and passing the savings onto the consumer.

but people would drive without insurance, and that $100,000 hospital bill from your accident would leave you financially crippled. It's starting to become an issue in California from an increasingly large amount of uninsured motorists.

My sister is around 5'9" and probably weighs over 300 lbs. She's a nurse, so she definitely knows better. My family has a really bad history of strokes and heart disease. My dad personally had a really bad stroke that left him pretty well handicapped.

My mom regularly cries over my sister because it breaks her heart to see her do this to herself. It makes me so incredibly mad at my sister.

I don't remember that from chemistry at all, all I remember is learning about certain bonds and numbers attributed to atoms and such. None of that stuck with me at all. You don't need a full class to learn what you said.
