Not in the slightest, you have close plays, amazing catches, no doubt home runs, double/triple plays, the chance make a history making play overtime you go out there, baseball players are not pansies covered in pads like football players, getting hit by a 100 mph fastball hurts way worse/can cause much more damage than getting thrown to the ground like we're 6 years old on the playground

It is, actually. In the same way that it was exciting when I was 5 years old to take two hot wheels cars and ram them together. There's a lot of idle time in between but the moment they collided and flew across the room was a rush.

I will 100% agree with you that one fastball to the head is extremely painful and can be deadly, even with a batting helmet.
But you seem to imply that there is no pain involved after 2 people hit each other once. Maybe, but these football players don't hit each other once, for some it's 40 or 50 times a game. You do it.
