Have you been to the forest yet? The track there sounds like pure Hisaishi. I think that environment really pulls of the Miyazaki feel the best (though to be fair, forest spirits are so Japan).

I have not! That sounds exciting! I have beaten the elephant divine beast and I have about 8 hearts. My focus has been on shrines and towers. I need 13 hearts to get the Master Sword right?

Something like that. I didn't really keep too heavy of track.

And you can go visit it and not get the Master Sword right away. It's easy to warp back to.

Honestly, I would just experience the expansions.

Play 1-60 (which is technically Cata content) and there's enough zones/dungeons to just explore the game and get up to 60.

Do Hellfire Peninsula (or level a bit further and do Zangarmarsh), then one other BC zone (Nagrand?).

WotLK is the best expansion, and you should at least do one of the first two zones, Dragonblight, Grizzly Hills, Icecrown.

Cata is weird, but I would recommend Vashjir and maybe Uldum.

Do the first zone of Pandas.

Skip Warlords of Draenor.

The team was a little underleveled for that one. We fought a crocodilian that was very beefy, and unfortunately Poka lost his life in the battle.

For those who are unfamiliar, this game has similarities to say... XCOM, in that you get a bunch of party members to use throughout the game and all have a good strong chance of dying.

I just got the DLC, so I'm raring to give this a go! Just post and I'll make you a person. You can request specific classes but we'll see!

I went the first half of the topic blind, set up my opening suspicions based on actual reads. I think my initial 5 reads were Boko, Stan, puns, KBM, and someone else.

Stan was the one I hard pursued after learning the Scum team, and puns always defended when I said things so I said things back and got pulled into it.

I could have backed off of him, but it was in my personal nature not to (if I were Town), so I did not.

Like I said, that was a cold read! I'd have said the same as Town!

And me asking shad if he'd ever voted a buddy day 1, him saying "Yeah but I've never really driven the lynch" and then han chiming in with "Well you're in that position now, take the wheel" and followed up by me saying "this feels like collusion" and MI being like "Nah, probs not collusion!"

And THAT wasn't a slip, that was me misreading what was said, because I actually thought he just meant leading a lynch on someone.

As he grew older, he was taught to treat them like property, only worthy of winning a medal for people like himself. But Larrington knew - this dog was worth so much more than that. This dog wouldn't earn a medal - he would give medals himself, one so enraptured by destiny and courage. He would be the one to award those willing to prove themselves to him.

Larrington always loved dogs, and he wasn't going to let this one fall. Conquering his fear, he leapt forward, striking out with his rapier to maybe give an opening for Aron Rex to take advantage of!

I hope Puns/MI/Han are slightly less irate now that they see Town wasn't nearly as strong as they thought they were. I still think this is a really fun set up, and I was honestly really happy with the way basically everyone played. It was a great game from top to bottom, fun to read, and I think just about everyone played well. I hope, at the very least, you had FUN.

I actually called Han on the saturday I was with FD to calm him down. It felt kind of cool actually, being a calm headed coach. It makes me feel like I have finally transitioned into a mentor role after all of these years. I am proud of all my beautiful scumbuddies.

For the record, if I had to do it all over again, I would still choose getting lynched D1.

I did far better work as a voice in the background and helped keep Leo alive much longer than he would have.

I just missed completely the idea that scum would be okay if their blocker had been lynched D1 because it literally would not have mattered, which was my bad.

Fun times though.

I don't think any of us knew it wouldn't have mattered.

I went into the first topic blind without checking the Scum board so that I could set up more realistic suspicions. Puns was on my shortlist for Scum based on the first ~250 posts.

Also, he was very defensive to me and I was very defensive to him and it just created a lot of tension that wasn't fake, which ended up helping us win I guess.
