One had cancer, one killed herself, one died in a motorcycle accident, one was murdered a month ago, and the most notable of all was a triple murder suicide in 2011 where I knew all three of the murder victims as well as they guy who did it and killed himself. Only person in that I didn't know was the girl who survived. Also, when I was in the 8th grade, a girl in my class was run over by a bus. They stand outside their stores and just chat for hours, while drinking what looks to be a cooler full of Coors Light (might be Diet Pepsi, it's a silver can, that's all I can tell). It's like a foreign version of King of the Hill. Neither store seems to get much business. But Murphy's law has rule here. When the Filipino guy walks away, for who knows what reason, it seems there is always a customer that pulls up, goes to enter the store (which clearly has a lit open sign), just to find that it's locked. They either get mad and knock on the door, or they just awkwardly leave. Eventually the Filipino guy returns and is none the wiser that he had a potential customer. Will mega-evolutions still be a thing? And what about those special attacks introduced in S/M (that I honestly never even used once)? It's one thing to make a batch of new Pokemon, it's another thing to remember to include all the specialized details they included in the past. I make a pretty great wage now, so I definitely escaped poverty. For example, when I was a kid I'd look at what other kids had. Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis; when I was dead broke man I couldn't picture this. 50 inch screen money green leather sofa. Got two rides, a limousine with a chauffeur. Phone bill about two G's flat; no need to worry, my accountant handles that. And my whole crew is lounging; celebrating every day, no more public housing. Thinking back on my one-room shack - now my mom pimps a Ac' with minks on her back. And she loves to show me off, of course. Smiles every time my face is up in The Source. We used to fuss when the landlord dissed us. No heat; wonder why Christmas missed us. Birthdays was the worst days, now we sip champagne when we thirstay.
