I moved to my town because I was offered a job there. So probably not hard to get a job but I might have been an exception.

If you literally mean like any job, there seem to be places in surrounding areas with help wanted signs. Within most specialties or fields, you'd likely need to travel somewhere else since the surrounding area doesn't have that much to offer.

In town? There's not much here. I got a job at a warehouse 45 minutes away from where I live. The warehouses and factories are always hiring in that town.

I'm not sure. I'm not even employed in my area (I telecommute and home office is just over 1000 km away) and I haven't exactly been paying attention to what the local job market's been doing. That said, this area of the country is doing very well economically and the housing market is heating up right now, so I'm assuming the job market's probably pretty decent at the moment.

Just a job in general? No, that's easy as heck, there's to s if minimum wage jobs around and the fast food places are always hiring. Finding a job worth having though, yeah that's difficult. The Pepsi plant in the next town over pays well, but those jobs fill up fast and you need some kind of license for the better paying jobs there(like $15+ per hour). My brother worked his way up to manager/supervisor at the factory he works at, and he makes about $13 per hour iirc. Thats pretty much the highest paying jobs I'm aware of here that's not related to the legal system or health care or something.
