Didn't head split from Korn like, a LONG time ago? Became a born again Christian. Remember reading an interview about him boasting about how a tattoo of Jesus on his arm prevented him from masturbating and all that jazz. Thought it was crazy, but hey whatever helps you get through this life we live.

And honestly, I do agree with him to a certain extent. Not gonna lie, I had my own bouts of self-destructive behavior. Mixed things you shouldn't mix because of a high probability of ODing. And I almost did, but my friends kept keeping me conscious and made me throw everything I had up. And that was just 4 years ago. Looking at where I've come now from then is night and day. Not gonna say there haven't been struggling, not gonna say there aren't days when I have those intrusive thoughts still to this day.

But I will say, without being saved by my friends that night, I would have missed out on many positive experiences and becoming pretty much autonomous for my own life, which is something I didn't possess back then. So while I do sympathize with people that feel the need to take their own life, I will say it doesn't need to be something that's almost glorified. It's a tragedy, and we do need to pay our respects. But there does need to be a dialogue against it, as hard as it may be to hear. Because the truth is often a hard thing to listen to

When did Light in this movie seem to be bullied? There were some criminals beating up someone and he tried to step in and got his ass kicked.

Later on in the trailer he's shown selling his homework to people. Showing he's still smart, but I don't really see anyone at his school bullying him, if anything they're paying him for a service he finds menial and he's the one taking advantage of them.

I'm from Prairieville/Gonzales area. While pretty much everyone is a Saints fan, from my experience the passion for LSU exceeds passion for the Saints. It doesn't really "overshadow them" because they play on different days so it's not like anyone's really required to sacrifice one for the other. Just saying I know many people that would take an LSU win over Bama over a Saints won over the Falcons.

I just think it's hilarious because there are definitely Ole Miss fans who think so highly of their program, and they never win anything remotely significant. Even when they cheat hard they still fail.

I grew up in a college town and a big fan of LSU sports as many are that grew up in BR. LSU football is bigger than any pro sporting team remotely in the area. Ole Miss is a big rival. I'm allowed to gloat when shit blows up in their face and I'd expect the same treatment if the same thing happened to us (and it did when we got killed by Ole Miss and Miles almost got fired).

Tl;Dr, just having a bit of fun. Shit talking is half the fun of being a sports fan.

I remember when GameStop announced that they were making a store credit card, and anyone who was a member would be pre-approved. So basically games with little or no credit had an opportunity to build/repair their credit with this right?

Well many people on CE lost their shit because the interest rate was like 20-something percent. They couldn't grasp the fact that many other stores with their own cards charge similar rates because cards with high acceptance rates tend to have higher interest rates because the lender is assuming more risk. But damn did CE lose their minds and straight up attacked GameStop, it was like a 350 post topic of people melting over it. I was just in awe of how many people were that clueless about how CCs and lending in general works.

Just know that simply applying for a credit card and not getting approved will lower your credit score. Pretty bullshit but that's just how it is. So a high approval rate is also something to look at so you're not sending forms everywhere. But $40 a year definitely isn't much, but it does pretty much even out that cash back thing, especially since you won't get a big credit line out of the get go so you just simply won't have the opportunity to make up for it.

Just do a little more research and don't jump at the first thing that'll accept you.

Different cards have different interest rates but if you pay on time and don't use it to buy things you can't afford it's irrelevant. That new Discover card might be good for a starter I guess.

That has a lot to do with attending the school or growing up in a college town though. Like growing up in BR where LSU is many people were more passionate about LSU than the Saints, but just go an hour away to, say, New Orleans or Lafayette the passion for LSU is already noticeably smaller and many would be way more passionate about the Saints than LSU, many often despising LSU.

LSU's gymnastic's team drew larger crowds than the men's basketball team this past year FWIW.
