Because I was in Odenkirk mode, I went from W/ Bob and David to Better Call Saul.

First episode was great, mostly because of Mike and Chuck doing what they do best. The whole Mike portion of the episode was brilliant. Jonathan Banks can do so much without hardly a word, it's tremendous.

For real. So much of his work early in season 3 and late in 2 were done with almost no dialogue and it was compelling every time.

Yep. Everyone knew going in the new Vader wouldn't be as good as actual Vader, so they made the character someone trying desperately to be Vader but falling really short and having that be his motivation and source of anger/conflict. He's a terrific character and one of the best parts of the movie

I'd be disappointed if he turned good though. He should go full evil. Kill Snoke, take over the order.

I was thinking of TRL when I came in - if you needed to jump out of the way, the qte button you needed was the jump button. It was good.

RE4 also kept it simple by sticking to two specific button combos, which had always been used as "dodge" buttons well before QTE cutscenes.

@OliviaTremor which are these two highly regarded episodes? I'm not sure if I have a favourite. Probably leaning towards the s3 opener, the microverse ep, s2 finale or the time episode. Or the purge. Or total rickall. damn

Varies. If they're honest and don't lie about how they got there it's hard to have a problem with them. If they bullshit about the "roots" of their support or pretend to know more about the sport than they do, they suck.

The latter happens often. But the former also happens from time to time.

I do get the idea in that he's more traumatised by that than he is actually killing things, but I think the circumstances surrounding it (the insane normality of everyone else, Rick being completely fine with it, and him actually having time to dwell on it) surely mark it out as a very different situation to previous things that they've done?

Worse moral things might have happened, but I never thought of that as a "moral" issue but as more of a "it's pretty disturbing to bury your own dead body and that would probably scar you, especially if everyone around you went back to their normal life from then on".

Bryan lost the feud with The Authority that night. That was unthinkable. And then 3 months of unrelated Wyatt garbage.

I never once got the impression that it was over at that point. It wasn't anywhere near a decisive enough finish. He was pinned after HBK's Superkick!

I guess that's the disconnect. I thought Bryan would win that going in, so I was surprised, but my immediate reaction was "there's a larger payoff here" not "feud over".
