The main focus is fighting others in an arena...that's basically what I consider a fighting game. There's so many different types of fighting games that trying to further the requirements severely limits the genre.

Granted, I consider it a party fighter with its heavy emphasis on casual play, but can be played competitively.

It's overrated as hell possibly maybe more than any other game. It's 8/10 at best. It had terrible dungeons and an insultingly bad weapons breaking mechanic. A god awful "story". Limited enemy variety and stripped down combat compared to literally even Oot. Shallow sidequests. No reason to do any of them. No progression system.

I find this hilarious, tbh. All the faults you have made it seem like it's a terrible game yet you still give it a good score. That must mean it did something right.

Exactly. Star Fox Zero was exactly a recreation of Star Fox 64. To the point where it'd almost be a remake if it were any closer. Pretending it doesn't exist just because you hated the controls is pretty childish.

Yeah, Tom Holland was phenomenal. Very believable as Peter Parker and nailed the Spider-Man persona. I was worried that Tony Stark was gonna take the spotlight but he was put in rather tastefully.

I wonder how they're gonna do Scorpion in the next one.

Sony and capcom had a little falling out when it comes to monster hunter around when monster hunter portable 3rd was a thing. A bunch of minor things like sony being kind of dicks about upgrading their psp online play app (sony got kind of slack with updating this app for the west/gave up on it like they usually do with a lot of their things. *coughvitacough*) and wanting capcom to pay out of their pocket to update it, sony wanting capcom to add trophies for portable 3rd when capcom was pretty much "whatever" when it came to that (this was around the time when sony's western branch made all new games having trophies mandatory).

Also, there was rumors of sony wanting capcom to put in more money towards increasing the graphics for the PS3 port...capcom was having money issues at the time, and the PS3 port of portable 3rd wasn't intended to be this massive game with a budget...just a quick port to try to help out with costs since PS3 development was hurting a lot of mid-level devs like capcom at the time...the PS3 was expensive to develop for. (To be honest, I actually believe this. There is actually a few 2D fighters/rpgs/various games that never got localized on the PS2 or PSP because sony's western branch used to enforce all these petty rules on devs, like a 2D game needing "a good deal of enhancements" To be localized in NA when it came to the PS2 and PSP.....this was the reason north america missed out on the tales of eternia and breath of fire 3 psp ports back then. Working designs was a victim of this with their localization for the geomon game that was on PS2).

Small things like this eventually added up. Nintendo comes along and is all like "hey, we will totally foot the bill if you create monster hunter 3 on our system". The Wii really took off, so capcom accepted and the rest is history.

Basically, it was kind of sony's fault the series made the jump back then.

Yep.

Now they're turning around and being like, "nope, we're not gonna localize XX, sorry." Oh how quickly Capcom turns when money is involved.

That's the square bomb rune in the last one...looks really weird without the glow. These are also from the Switch version while my video was from the Wii U version...could be why it's much easier to see from these. The curtain darkens things too much for me, even in mid-day.

Countries or states don't usually have authority outside of their jurisdiction (there's very rare cases where they can), so if someone wants to lay low somewhere else, they can. If it's for an unfair reason, they're essentially safe.

If a criminal is being "hunted" so to speak, the state police where he committed the crime can't do anything if he leaves the state. They can call for other states to search though.

That was more bad writing than bad on Tobey. When there were quips, he was great.

Yeah, not really criticizing Tobey on that one. The writers just kinda...failed on that.
Though to be honest, the video game adaptations do a bit better on that but they don't seem high-energy. Though that comes from Tobey probably not being too experienced with voice acting (with that you're not given much context to work with since you're not "there" in the scene).

Wow. I just looked at footage of it (...alright, Brainscratch's playthrough) and you literally need a theater-sized TV to see where you're going. I see why the original version didn't have local multiplayer. They should've done something like split screen with a simple map in the middle.

Spider-man use to be my favorite.
