I've lost quite a few pounds myself. At least 12 lb or so in the past month or two. Not trying to lose too much, just cutting down on fat while maintaining my muscle mass.

I did intermittent fasting while increasing the amount of cardio I did. I'd just recommend doing that, TC. Find a good playlist or podcast to listen to and do some long distance running/walking. Low intensity, high endurance is good for dropping pounds. A supplementary diet of sorts ala keto or intermittent fasting can help too.

This, except I wouldn't say the animations are fixed. The glitches and animations are still bad, but you can tell who is shitting on the game without playing it. I always forget who the companions are other than the krogan and the girl with the short hair. The only one i remember is peebee. I've beaten it twice and forget the side characters almost instantly after im done.

The problem with that game is that its all forgettable. The worlds are amazing but fall flat once you're there. The companions are meh and the side quest dont really matter other than an extra person at the end.

At no point in the game did the Kett feel like an actual threat like the reapers did in the original ME games.

Understandable. I haven't beaten the game yet, but the exploration aspect, and developing your resources as you expand your colony was a very interesting concept to me. I never played the original ME so I don't know how this even compares to that.

It's not that bad. It'll be the second game I ever platinum (been at 80% for the longest). It has a lot of characters that each feel different and unique to themselves, a ton of modes, and the gameplay itself is already clean. I bought it at launch for full price and I have zero regrets.
